Thanks for watching! In this performance I am using the Everse 8 as my pa. Plugged directly into it.

Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed it. For the musician out there, I am using an AER compact 60 TE edition. Two maton guitars. An Everse 8 which is connected to the AER. With this light weight setup I can get huge sound even at outdoor gigs like this one.

Amazing
:)❤
Thank you for the comparison. The Everse seems flat while the AER seems to have built in EQ, and perhaps compression.
awesome show!!!!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
You think you could eq your guitar to get close to the AER or somewhere in that vicinity? I’m coming from a fishman loud box mini and love the tone and separation of mic and acoustic. Thanks for your input
@@rapbisnar hi thanks, I’m trying to understand your question. Are you asking if my maton could be adjusted with the eq on the pre amp that is on the guitar to sound like an aer amp through a fishman amp? I’m not sure. I’ve never played my maton through a fishman but I’m sure it would sound good. It sounds good plugged into anything. But it sounds really good through an aer. Just my opinion. It may sound really good through a fishman too. I just have never done that. Thanks!
@@tylerjordanguitar sorry I just read what I wrote and that’s totally confusing haha. I guess what I’m really trying to ask is if the everse on its own (playing your Maton through the everse) is flexible enough to get the guitar to sound good. Thanks again!
No worries! Gotcha I understand now. If you’re deciding between the two, I would recommend the Everse. The Everse doesn’t have the same tone as the aer, but it has a good tone with my maton. I can’t speak for other brands because I don’t know how they would sound through it. But the Everse is louder and fuller sounding and has a great mic channel if you do any vocals. It is also battery powered and I control everything from my phone which I love. Or you can control in manually off the speaker itself. But definitely has a bigger fuller sound then the aer. Hope that helps. Thanks!

Thanks Dude!
Your videos put a smile on my face every time. Thanks.
Thanks!!! That’s my goal, making smiles.
Stumbled on your channel and was impressed. Truly exceptional player/performer with great guitar tone. Just curious what Matan guitars you use. As a amateur acoustic guitar player I never see these around but always been curious about these. Does your mike go through the AER or direct to the EV8? If I close my eyes I hear Tommy Emanual.
What a nice compliment. Thank you! My main maton is the srs 808 cedar model. The one I use for slide is the 808 with the cool paint job and I can’t remember right off the top of my head what it is called. My vocals are going straight through the ev. My guitar is going through the aer and the aer is plugged into channel 2 of the ev. That setup gives my guitar huge sound from both the aer and the ev. Thanks again glad you like it.
That's awesome. Seriously. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!! Glad you like it.
Keep up the good work man, you are amazing. 👍

What a great Performance! 🎸🤟🏻 Really good!
Thankyou!
It's tought to make up my mind from this comparison because the AER has so much more compression and reverb, which I assume is just the way you have set it. Would be nice to hear the difference in the core sound better. Thank you for the comparison!
Great stuff! Thank you for carrying on my grandfathers legacy.
@@JimmyWakelyy thanks!!! Wow! That’s so great that Jimmy is your grandpa! Your compliment means a lot. Thanks!!
@@tylerjordanguitar Sure thing!🤠
y'all need to make friends with a jazz drummer, would go great with the guitars
Maybe put a little growl in the vocals?
Thanks for the suggestion. I can certainly try that. I do understand that my vocals are certainly my weak point.
@@tylerjordanguitar Just keep trying, man. You have pro quality. Singing alone in a vehicle helped me develop it.

Hi Tyler! Honestly, if you would have to choose between the AER Compact 60 vs Everse 8, what would be your pick? What's louder and has the better sound for you? Greetings!
Thanks for the message. That’s a tough question. If I had to pick one, I would go with the Evers. It’s louder. It has a fuller sound and it’s completely mobile does not need power outlet. However, in my opinion, the AER has the better tone with my maton guutar. But also, the maton pick up system sounds good in almost any PA or amp so it sounds good even through the Evers. Plus the Evers is considerably cheaper. If I didn’t have a Maton guitar I might have to go with the AER. But since I play through. maton The tone is really good through anything. It looks like you play a lot of nylon string. I think you’ll would like the Evers nylon strings sound awesome amplified through just about anything as well.
Love it!

Can I ask what settings / fx you used for this sound on the everse? Thanks
@@dannygboyo you bet, Compression 22, fx reverb cathedral -8, treble -2, mid 0, bass 3.
@@tylerjordanguitar thanks for responding. I personally prefer the sound through the everse, it sounds more ‘true’. Your video helped me choose Everse. Thank you.
