I agree. Get rid of the electronic gimmicks and luxury. An MG was supposed to be fun, a car to handle, not luxuriate in. I owned a '68 MGC-GT with a 6-cylinder engine, chrome wire-wheel knockoffs and I was either in the shop or fixing what I could quite a lot but doing 120 in a low-slung car was a thrill. Went through a lot of U-joints due to the power. I will say I do like the look of this one IN A PICTURE but in person might be an entirely different experience.

Its a 2025 model with petrol engines that will be phased out in 2030 - it doesn't make sense. TVR was more MG than any proposed MG for the last 50 years (MGF excluded). MGs were always about simplicity and performance, this neither looks it or sounds like it. Get rid of the electronic gimmicks and give the driver a real job and enjoyment.

The only thing that is MGB is the badge. I used to own an MG Midget, un-reliable, poorly built, rotten, rusty, too small for a 6ft 2 driver but so much fun to drive. If it is built in the UK then maybe it deserves the badge otherwise it will be far to refined to hold the MG name.
