Dust is a broken and outdated mod, it’s generally recommended by the modding community to avoid it if you want stability and performance :/

Medicine Stick and Ranger Sequoia would kill way faster in the original firerates and reload speed. I try not to mod the game so much it becomes easy. The original AP surprisingly still makes the game feel very balanced because dash and bullet time are all affected by AP which still drains very fast. If you don't want to use VATs all the time (which would have made AP obsolete), this is a great alternative which still makes the game fun without it being broken.

Animations are fine, just their nerfed firerates and reload speed leaves more to be desired since the game is already hard enough.

the market is slowly evening out, we’re on the back of a material shortage, all hardware increased in price from 2019-2022 The average GPU price is already starting to lower, and it is predicted to keep going down. It’s seriously better to save for a pc than buy a PS5 nowadays, if you’re at all serious about your gaming habit. Especially with how much money you can save with Steam sales. This is on top of the general utility of owning a personal computer. It really blows my mind there is such a massive market for consoles, they’re consumer friendly and less of an upfront cost, but such a ripoff in the grand scheme of things. Even if you’re not a gamer I don’t understand how people get by in modern society without a PC, I mean, even my college classes require access to a PC to do work, and i’m studying psychology, not a STEM field. Do people seriously pay their taxes and fill out job applications and correspond to emails or w/e on their phones? Its just wild. I don’t mean to sound like a pretentious dick, it’s just crazy how consoles still supersede computers in popularity.

i have a 2015 macbook running new vegas with a little over 150 mods at about 30-40 fps on boot camp. if you really wanted to you could buy a shitty outdated pc bc you don’t even need crazy specs to run a game like this

I remembered I had around 36 int 40 dex around 45 vigor maybe, 20+ stamina 20+ fp. The important thing in this fight is just blocking the first combo, I recommend a shield to block the first flurry, then roll into second, stand still for the third. You should be at least 110+ for the fight so the heal she gets back for the first flurry becomes negelible. I beat her a couple more times during co-op, Rivers of Blood and bleed is way better than Moonveil against her.

This fight is the definition of "git gud" haha
