LaserMATIC 10 Fully Enclosed 10W Laser Engraver
Hi, I noticed you added a spacer above, what is the width of it?
At about 2:10 for the speeds and power, what is suggested for 20w? I assume these settings have to be loaded each time you turn the laser on and run a project. Is that true for the lens profile too?
What is the reasoning for locking and unlocking your rotary? If you don’t do this what happens?
Another fine, informative video. Thank You Dimitri : )
Great info, I follow closely, awesome video : ) Thank You Dimitri.
Another fine video, thank you Dimitri : )
Thank you Dimitri, nice informative video : )
The previous video on camera alignment was very good. This one is even better. The trick with overlaying the 39.5 mm circle to test your results alone is a game changer. After duplicating this trick on #2 just as Dimitri did, I moved #4 elsewhere on the workbed, set framing to continuous and fired up the “rubber-band” framing tool. Watching that beam track perfectly in the previously engraved circle was immensely satisfying! And just in time for my post computer crash realignments.
I wanted to buy a Lasermatic mk2 XW 30W with chuck rotary, but shipping to the Netherlands costs $450, it's very expensive, I'll look for another laser
Really? I preordered mine from the EU warehouse, it was only $50 in shipping to Sweden! Did you try to buy it from US warehouse?
The MK2 XW is now available in the EU. Shipping is only 50$.
That’s a good idea, I will try it out
Thank you for this video very helpful.
I wonder if some kind of filter can be used over the module intake? Using a new one each time. I found soot has been getting deep into mine even when I blow it out after each use. I think some of the wood I'm working with gives off a lot more soot. I've been getting Oak that's laminated on the other side with luan. I get it from a local Hardware/Lumber store . Where I live in the Michigan UP I don't have any Home Depots or Lowe's for over a hundred miles 🥺
Just got mine today!!!🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for the video! It's a beautiful machine!🥰😍🤩
Amazing quality product. Will there ever be a proprietary software tuned to the same perfection?
We prefer to have the user the option on which software they want to use.
Awesome, well done video : )
Great tutorial, this looks like a good machine.
very helpful video on how to calibrate camera to any thickness of your material. Cheers
Excellent. What size shrink tubing? It looks about 1/2 inch or so in the video. Thanks.
3/8"
@@rolyautomation Thanks very much!
So with each thickness you also need to recalibrate for each when switching between the honeycomb and the Jig Table? they sit at very different heights. I was just pulling my hair out trying to use the dots with no luck using the honeycomb even with it completely covered with white paper.
I still dont have this machine yet, but I gotta say from all my research over the past few months I've got to say I take my hat off to Roly you seem to have smashed it. Not only with a great product but it seems the technical support and customer services is second to none also. 👏🙌🙌🙌
Hi, Really like the look of your engraver and note that you are shipping to the UK. I am mainly a cnc background and this would be my first laser. I mainly want it for cutting balsa for rc planes but also some engraving projects. I wondered if you can clarify something for me, plenty of sites/people seem to say that you can mark stainless with a diode, others seem to say it just rubs off with a diode laser. Can you clarify if I will be able to brand my stainless products with the roly 30w? If not are you planning to introduce an IR head at some point? Not a deal breaker for me but would be nice to know. Thanks Frank
Hello Frank. Thanks for the question. We are capable of engraving on stainless steel.
Great video! Set up all of my camera profiles from .5mm to 3mm so far on my M2 30w. This machine is a beast!
Will this video work for the 30W also?
Glad I found this! Thanks guys.
Hi leo i am watching your video to see if i can set up my camera as well .
Great presentation! You guys are awesome. I love my machine. Do you offer a vinyl cover for it? I'd like to keep it looking good.
Why you don,t ship in europe?

I just did this calibration with the new camera import settings and it worked perfectly, my accuracy is less than 1 mm. Well done. Makes a great machine just that much better ! ;-)
Excellent video, leaned more than I ever have reading and watching other videos, thank you Leo and Dimitri for the effort
Thanks Leo/Dimitri excellent presentation. This is the first timeI have seen my camera spot on. Easy when you know how. Cheers.
I can't open the file that Leo posted on facebook.
I forgot to include the file extension, just re-uploaded - Leo
Hi Leo, I tuned in late but got the information. It would be helpful to post the camera file to your website as some of us don't use face book and would prefer to go directly to the website instead. I'm not sure if I will have this problem or not as my machine will not be arriving until next week sometime, FedEx does not have a delivery date as of yet. Thanks for the support, much appreciated ! Cheers. (posted 8/24/23 )
Thank you Leo for posting this information. You are appreciated very much in this community ! I will also be working with the rotary soon, can't wait. ;-)
You are very welcome
Leo, you have created a master piece my friend. This is without a doubt the best 10 watt laser and most complete package a guy could ask for. Two thumbs up. Well done sir !
Is that Leo? Nice to put a face to the person I've been emailing
Hi Leo, can you cut 4mm leather with the 10w laser?
Yes, absolutely
Thanks. Spent some time yesterday positioning jobs on my rotary.
Thank you all for taking the time to make this helpful video, I will be trying this again soon. Again thank you all : )
