Note, these are advertised as 3hp, but I used one to replace a "5.5hp" honda motor on my hay elevator and it worked better. These are 3hp, but that's an honest 3hp. All the big manufacturers of small engines got in trouble for over advertising their engines and now they all rate by displacement.

@@MAKESHIFTFARMs They work good if you treat them right. @mossycreekvids did a teardown of one after he found a case bolt only on finger tight. Surprising well machined, but assembly can be poor. At least check if any of the case bolts are loose. And DO NOT use ether to start them in the cold. I'm gonna pick up a battery hot air gun if I ever need to do a cold start. I have 20 hours on the hay elevator engine and just picked up a 2in water pump with this engine.

@@MAKESHIFTFARMs I have to finish repairing the motor mount. It could be the diesel vibrates more then the honda did. It could be the welds on the mount are around 30 years old.
