It’s actually a new road user for the first time in five decades. The previous Queensland tram running was in Brissy which is essentially replacing them with dud bendy buses! You can’t call those biarticulated buses a metro in any sense really, as many consider metro to be heavy rail systems.
Good train
What happens when trams cross train tracks (as in the ones that can carry freight)
They don't cross any railways
@@briannem.6787 unless you live in Melbourne lol
@@benjaminhawkins1026 This line in particular doesn't, though. You've got a good point, though.
Great looking trams
Wow I was literally just thinking about stage 2 and then this video gets uploaded 10 hours before, it's nice to see rails taking shape
You should have just built it from Helensvale in the first place
I am "The G" spot.
This has changed my life.
This has now been completed. They just announced Stage 2 development.
This should be on TV in southeast Queensland from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and in all move theatres.
as a piece of advertising, it's brilliant. Nice piece of work. This should be shown to the general public on TV, maybe a shortened version as an advertorial to be part of say local Gold Coast News.
common-sense really....
Very nicely done video. All the old retards who are on the last quarter of their life, getting stuck on the tracks, should be made to watch this and answer a questionnaire to make sure they understand it. It just has me beat how that granny got stuck on the tracks at main beach some weeks ago. Most importantly, she DID make her hairdressers' appointment on time though....
That surfboard holder seems stupid at first but it actually a great idea
cool
amazing video must do thing in the gold coast
That should be 2014
Was this video edited on a toaster?
This is great having toast and editing a video at the same time?
These should be aired on tv!
This video should be on TV in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and in the movie theatres before every movie and on flights going to the Gold Coast and Brisbane bound flights so passengers do get a train going to the Gold Coast.
Very nice video.
thats cool
In Rome, my city, we've succeeded to have, since 1973 (oil austerity), 2,2km of new tram tracks only.... An they've been thinking, and talking of "tram revival" since that year! Every municipal elections.... "bla blablablà blablà...." and then "blablablà"... Unfortunately we're italians....(romans, to be honest, and it's worse...!!!) Tramvinicyus tram enthusiast from a city once called Rome...
Geweldig ik hoop dat we in 2018 ook hier Hello to Yello kunnen zeggen op de Uithof Line ;-)
The very sad thing is that there were bloody trams all over Brisbane and Sydney and some bright spark decided it was a good idea to rip it all up.
Having the big G as key symbol is pretty cool, but trying too force the phrase "catch the G," onto people or expecting them use it is pretty stupid. sounds pretty stupid calling it the G, they need it to be more natural similar to what you said except maybe catch the line or something. By the way whats the song.
so will the stops be known as a G:Spot and the overhead wire named the G:String?
connect to the main line to be affective. Ian Sharp
Traffic signals on the Gold Coast are being upgraded with tram 'T' lights. Nothing changes for drivers and pedestrians. Follow the existing road rules and everyone will be safe on the roads. The first tram testing in Southport will start in October 2013.
same! hope there is trams in brisbane too !
Can't wait to ride it.
Great video thanks for posting.
