Mammoth cave movie
Bike trail at Mammoth Cave. Bit too bumpy for the camera on the trail, so I saved the video in the campground. Too bad the battery died before we got to the main visitor center.

Burgess Falls Tennesse

Great short paddle from ramp to the fall. Mostly hook the corner and keep heading to your left. The water was up enough to get right under them. Afterward we paddled up another creek off to the right on the way back and THEN drove up to the State park and walked the paths at the top. #BowlingGreenCanoeandKayak
Green River in Kentucky - 300 springs
Переглядів 6554 роки тому
There is a 10 miles section of the Green up river from Munfordville - with not great put in and take out - but has the loveliest waterfalls of spring water. It runs about 40 degrees, and has every time I have been out, but that might not be the case every time. Only 5 went in our group as we are still trying to social distance a bit. It was the boys first time, so they had to get under the spra...

Took a trip with Adventures Unlimited, here is our part of the Olympic section. We had an extra person in the raft so they got our camera to record. I inter-spliced the photos I bought from Adventures Unlimited. We had a epic Fail. 3 people stayed in the raft.

Hiwassee wave train
Переглядів 476 років тому
On one of the ending wave train sections of the river, the camera decided to have it's own adventure. No one was hurt (including the camera). I did not have all my mounting stuff immediately available- oops. So, yes it is sitting on the deck under a bungee. The camera was attached by a leash to the kayak.

Total surprise that I had the camera recording before takeoff. This was great fun, I had never gone before, and even by myself, it was worth it.

    Could you share approximately how far apart the legs are at the bottom. The side and front? Thank you.

    I'd like to see some more specifics about how to attach the two top pole pieces together, and how to use the T nuts. Thanks!

      @LoongirlProductions Рік тому

      The top poles just slide into each other. One has a smaller diameter end. If you look at the top fence posts on the store, you can see the difference. We cut that small end off one of the poles to have the same diameter on both outside ends.

      The T-nuts - just put the bolt though the hole you drilled, then thread the T-nut on. Once you tighten the bolt it pulls the T-nut into the wood.

    How are the ridge pole sections attached together?

    • @LoongirlProductions
      @LoongirlProductions Рік тому

      The poles have male and female ends. We keep the female end on one and chop off the other to get the length down. When you put them up we just slide the m/f together and then hang on the tripod.

    Do you know if 100/Holland boat ramp to Brownsford rd is a good paddle/fishing route with mostly deep waters?

    • @LoongirlProductions
      @LoongirlProductions 7 років тому

      Dustinharley, yes there are some good deep spots. It is about 10 miles, so plan for a Really long day if fishing and floating. It's a 4 to 5 hour trip paddling. The last 2 miles are lake.
