Does anyone know which house Byrde Olson lived in back in the 70s? I bought a car last year which she bought new in July 1976, I have all of the paperwork going back to the original purchase and warranty.

Thank you for sharing this. My dad (RIP) lived in Tompkins after they immigrated from Russia in 1926. I don't know how many years he was there nor if they went straight there after immigrating. In the 80's dad, mom and I took a trip across Canada and we went to this darling community. I know dad did some schooling in Stone, SK. Thanks again for sharing as I've been missing dad and this connects me to him again.

When this young lady started talking, in the background you could hear a meadowlark, in my area of central, northern Saskatchewan these birds are pretty well non-existent. I remember that beautiful sound, but in our area - not for years. Please protect these birds. Thanks. I am 71 years old, so in my lifetime no don't but with herbicides, pesticides, etc. Meadowlarks are long gone....

I really enjoyed watching this documentary. Very informative too. Thank you so much! May I ask, what motivated you to film this documentary? Was it a school project? Or you are just enthusiastic about showing the world how beautiful Saskatchewan is?
