Love your tutorials. I have a question. Everyone knows that you use alcohol to get off the hard gel. But how do get off the gel base coat when it time to remove the nails
@@krystalminton8799 thank you so much! For this particular type of removal, I would use a magic gel remover (I have a link for this if you'd like one) after filing down as far as I'm comfortable. Another option is to soak with acetone. I hope this helps

I cannot get the top off of the Magic Off! It looks like you just unscrewed the top, but mine just spins and clicks no matter how much I turn! Did you do anything in particular to get it open? Thanks!
@@tvdavis I opened it like a medicine bottle. 😬 Press down and twist. It took me a little bit to open itnth and first time.
Do you put a top coat on top of the rubber base? And then before you put the peel base on do you buff the nails it didnt look like it?
@@macycaputo399 I put a top coat on the rubber base and then apply the gel peel base right on top of that. I do not Buff the shine off.

That's kind of you. I just do it for fun.
I hate grow out too. 😄 I wear press-ons that I make but have a heck of a time getting them off if I glue them without ruining the press-ons. I have experimented with peel off base under glue and that helps. I've used UNT, white Elmer's, and even the clear Elmer's. .
Oh! Good to know you've tried them. If you want to remove them easier and use an air dry glue, check out Color Me Carole's Press Off Serum! It's amazing.

Blooming Gel is for making Blooming or spreading designs. Fluffy Clouds is just a white gel polish. The extreme shine top coat is a gel top coat to finish the nails. All must be cured in a led/uv lamp
Are you just waiting for them to dry then do the top coat? Or using a lamp at all?
I am using Blooming gel, not curing it, putting the white dots on and forming them. Once I'm happy with the white dots, I cure it in my led/uv lamp for 60 seconds and then add the smaller dots and cure again. Then top coat.

how did u attach the tips because i heard u werent suppose to use non-clear nails with gel cause its dangerous (not fully curing) but is it fine for you?
@@chunksfunks960 these are from Aprés and are made sheer enough to cure gel through and are specifically made for it. That is one of the main reasons I love them so much! I attached them with solid nail glue.

@@lara_dipnails it took me a while to learn as well. You want to wait about 20 ish seconds or until it's almost dry. It's a tricky thing to, but the outshine works the best for me. Better than anything I've ever tried

Loving all the fruits
Do you use a rubber base to protect your natural nails? I noticed that you always use rubber base and I've been wanting to try it but I have soooo many issues with fallouts and lifting. I just discovered the YN primer that has really helped but if I can protect my little nails from all the constant glue I put on them then I'm going to give it a shot!
Hi! Yes, I always use a rubber base now! Ever since I started, I haven't had any issues with my natural nails lifting or breaking or anything underneath tips or press ons. You can even Buff the top coat you put over them and apply regular nail glue, apply your GEL-X tips, or even nail extensions on top! It's a total game changer for natural nail health!
