29 Mar 2024 it aight. Actually, the camera issue is just the iPhone. The 0.5x lens isn’t broken at all and is likely only affected when the light level is just slightly lower than daytime, which is still annoying. Auto enabled stereo sound makes it so that the volume of the speaker is lower when zoomed in as to focus the audio on the surrounding more. Sounds cool, but who hell wants that?

These ones are everywhere in Japan and they are budget spec too. So common that you’d get sick of them.

Highly suggest avoiding this place even though it is the tallest in SG to have Japanese fixtures. The other person he was with did something stupid which attracted the attention of someone, in which the situation escalated.
Better not to risk it rn. The security and residents are probably on high alert, and I suspect they might add gates at the entrance because of it

Yup, Japanese model, only used for mods here. But despite that I heard they're made in Thailand like the other Hitachis. May I know where this is? Judging by the doortrack it was either 80s computer control or some 90s model.

@@igt4u I figured out where this is. Another enthusiast visited before, the COP buttons were replaced before the mod. Judging by the dates of the permits on BCA's site, I'm guessing these were modded very recently, like late 2023 to early 2024. Also from what I heard, even these Japanese models are made in Thailand for countries outside Japan.

Pressing the bumper on the door edges will also somehow make the lift go Out Of Service.
There are no office lifts here, those are the serviced apartment ones and are easily accessible except at night.
My guess is the fire lift wasn't in great condition mechanically so they just modded that one and kept the others - hopefully the others stay for some time. The apartment fire lift is original, but you need to access it from the upper apartment floors I think

Lift 5 had an original OTIS relay controller. The lift probably broke shortly before your visit and they decided not to fix it
