    A game with this type of ai as a zombie where players can cut their legs and limbs and still try get to the player by crawling would be the best, more the player fight more the ai learn to fight back.this would be best game out there get Collaboration with some game developer and show it out to the world mark your place ( teach the ai to get back up )

    Very impressive results, I got tired of seeing people not simulate pain when creating nets that walk, as it usually leads to pretty inhuman results.

    • @BlakeLindsay-v6p
      @BlakeLindsay-v6p Місяць тому

      I don’t think it’s more about pain, I think it’s more about the way the ai learns, neurones stop doing something if it has no pattern, not if it is not as good as before, that’s why people kick around until they can walk and why they find other things like crawling first, a real brain would see the presence of unpredictable results in the walking and slowly realise that the way we’d normally walk produces more consistent results.

    What does the structure of the neural network look like? I've actually been thinking about the pitfalls of AIs trying to learn how to walk, especially how long it can take for any semblance of symmetry to emerge, but I don't have a machine powerful enough to test the solution I hypothesized.

    When the old bipeds video was release I was trying to figure out how I could learn to do my own simulations; seeing that Hyfydy and DpRl are now tools largely available to the public... ... I probably shouldn't, but I _want_ to...

  • @bahshas

    you know in real life humans learn to walk when they're little. would it be easier to learn to walk or run if he was little too?

    • @Dent42
      @Dent42 Місяць тому

      That… is a very insightful question. I’ve certainly never seen anyone try it that way. Start by crawling, strengthen the muscles according to how they’re used, (maybe put it in a bouncer?,) give it stuff to climb, lengthen muscles and bones, and eventually it could learn to walk
