Music composition and notation app from Neuratron, featuring powerful handwritten music recognition. For iOS and Android. Follow us at neuratron - If NotateMe doesn't recognize your style immediately, keep at it, as it will adjust. Another piece of advice is to make markings clearer with further strokes if any transcription errors occur. If you still experience problems, tap 'Help ...
How Long is the advertising before it? 20 min?
it needs some update....urgently
We need an update, asap.
whats the iggest problem with this? I want to buy it but wondering if it is workable
Can one adjust printing scale? Enlarge the font/print scale? Or is that automatic and fixed?
I love photoscore. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I cannot find support on neuratron website to reinstall Photoscore Ultimate on the new computer. It just makes me want to by the whole Ultimate package over again.
Hello thank you for the tutorial. I have a big problem. Sound is terrible and missing organs. I can listen the half of the organs. Any advice?
Rename this "tutorial" to How to edit text in photoscore
Ugly software. Try the demo you'll see. Ancient interface. Can't properly interpret guitar tab at all even though company says it can.
Why don't you show us how to edit the darn thing, full of errors after scanning, instead of bragging about all the useless features. None of the tools works 😣 Can't change notes, time signatures, add anything at all. Sucks.
Mine never had a problem with time sigs. Just hit the T and the time sigs. window opens.
Isn’t Neuratron a British company?
"Clean and efficient" UI... Ok... sure
How do you assign instruments to orchestral scores where from line to line the number of staffs and instrumentation changes?
You didn't tell the most important: how to add missed notes.
Send to sibelius button not showing on my photoscore Ultimate 7??
Totally amazing! Thank you for such great apps!
Hello from the future! (ie 2020) I've been looking for something natural to write music for some time now, and this looks to be pretty close to (but better than) writing with pencil on paper. Looking forward to using it :)
Unfortunately the digitalizing with notateme.app works in advertising videos only - if I'm wrong, sorry! and please post a link where I can see normal people entering scores in an iPad with apple pencil.
Will there be a tab line for guitar and other related instruments?
Sorry, tab lines are not supported
Total bummer. I was just making a suggestion next time the app will be updated
I tried this ( Free )App to scan drum scores , but it can't recognize the Upper part ( hi hats, and Cymbals , etc.) Is this because i'm using Demo app or just can't do drum scores ?
DrumScore World sorry, percussion not supported. You would need to use our full PhotoScore Ultimate Windows/Mac product for this from neuratron.com.
Thanks for advice, Cheers
I paid 37euro for a children game im really upset.its strange when its about writing 6,8 or triplets in 4,4. wish to get my mney back and just instal a normal free app
Good evening! You know how to insert Coda, S, D.S. To Coda, D.C. to Coda and etc? Thank you.
how do u change the tempo?
+PerlaCrazyNerd Use the text pen tool to add text such as =100 to a note. Please contact help@neuratron.com for further support. Thanks!
Perla Garcia Te gustan las amalgamas :O
Nice App! when are the update coming for the audioscore and photoscores? Also it lacks many intruments
I sure hope you guys are still watching comments here. I love what I see, but I also notice that the vid is almost 3 years old. Has the "coming soon" stuff from this video been released yet? What other updates are there? I only see one version on the google play store, are all of the updates in that version already? Can you release a new demo for the current release if it is significantly different from this one?
Can you stack staffs like on physical paper? When you run out of room and you must start another line under it?
+Black Knight Whilst you are writing the staves keep extending to the right. When you choose 'Show Formatted Score' the score is automatically formatted into systems and pages suitable for printing on physical paper
Have been using it for about a week on a 10" Samsung tablet. The symbol/note recognition is taking a long time to adapt and more than 50% of entries are still misinterpreted. It would be nice to have a function specifically for teaching the program one's own "grafitti". I had a Cassiopeia handheld back in the late 90's and it learned my scribbles in no time. Certainly things must have advanced since then. Please consider adding a script recognition phase as part of the initial user experience.
+tromboneJTS Please contact help@neuratron.com and they should be able to assist you in making the most out of NotateMe.
Does this work better with the new iPad Pro than the older ipad models?
+dreamprobe The larger screen in conjunction with the Apple Pencil make for a far more accurate way to write music.
Can you do polyphony on a single staff?
+Staccato Rodriguez Yes, NotateMe automatically recognises up to 4 voices per staff.
Yes, it should work with that device. You can use a stylus such as the adonit jot pro. The Samsung s-pen can be used with Samsung note devices
is it the same program as the NotateMe Ultimate 8 and if not what are the differences?
is this app compatible with the Samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4? will it work with a stylus?
+Mark Mcconathy Apologies for the delay. It should work with that tablet, yes. If you are looking to purchase a tablet for use with NotateMe, we recommend the Galaxy Note (rather than Tab) series as they come with the highly accurate s-Pen. Otherwise you need something like the Adonit Jot Pro which is less accurate.
will this app work with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1"? I'm so scared I'll buy a tablet only to find it's not compatible..is there any way to check if it's compatible? and if it supports a pen thingy? thx!
Katy B Yes, it will. However if you want to make the most of NotateMe, we recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, which includes an active stylus (more accurate and easier to use than any conventional separate stylus you would need to buy for the Galaxy Tab). Contact help@neuratron.com if you would like further assistance. Thanks!
ok, thx heaps!
Pleas tell me how can i copy separate instruments and print them one by one Thank you
Hi guys !!! This is amazing !!! And because of this app i am getting an iPad mini 3 Any body using this With iPad mini? How its working?
I am so regret and pissed off after buying this apps coz the photoscore is not working at all😭
Ray Raiha We're sorry to hear this. Please contact help@neuratron.com - I'm sure they'll be able to assist you.
i just bought it, its great :D but i cannot write sextuplets or other types of tuplets, how do i do it??
NotateMe automatically adds tuplets when a bar is complete. So, finish writing the bar without writing them in and then they should appear in the Printed Area. If there are multiple possibilities for where a tuplet can be added, use the Text Pen to add, for example a '3' or '6'. Please contact help@neuratron.com if you require further support. Thanks!
Question: the stylus used in the video - 1. What stylus is it 2. Where can we buy it 3. If it's un available what would you suggest to use
It would be great to have a fine stylus, I have a media devil and the tip is fat and clumsy
David Hamnett It's the S-Pen that comes with the Samsung Galaxy Note series - a very accurate stylus. If you don't have this, the Adont Jot Pro is very good - it has a transparent tip.
thank you, I'm guessing you can't buy the S-Pen separately, thank you for responding
David Hamnett No - it requires special hardware built into the device so can only be used with Samsung Galaxy Note
I just bought this amazing app today! I am looking forward to the upgrades you have mentioned. I would like to know whether you would make this app Audiobus compatible. The reason is, to record and use MIDI in Cubasis app which can enhance my work flow speed in making music? Thanks!
Thanks for your comments! We take all customer requests seriously and will certainly look into this.
Thank you.
Will the ability to create drum scores be added? Percussionist and drummers also have a need to be able to score parts as well.
Carl Cherry II It's now possible to create drum scores with the latest NotateMe 2 update. Note that cross-noteheads need dragging from the new Symbol Pen (or you can select solid noteheads and tell NotateMe to treat them as cross note-heads using the same Symbol Pen)
when will you music app designers start including us drummers and percussionists????
***** It's now possible to create drum scores with the latest NotateMe 2 update. Note that cross-noteheads need dragging from the new Symbol Pen (or you can select solid noteheads and tell NotateMe to treat them as cross note-heads using the same Symbol Pen)
If it can export MIDI file , than i can take my i pad out instead my mac book .
Great, that's long time I was waiting for something close to Sibelius. But please offer also support for MIDI in / out. My Android tablet communicates with MIDI devices through its USB port, so why not to take advantage also of this great feature? Thanks anyway!!
MIDI in - would be really quick and helpfull - as an note input
It's a cool idea but I tried the free version for the iPhone and my markings were much too fat to be recognized. I don't want to buy a stylus just to jot down quick ideas.
Which iPhone do you have? It's worth practising for a while, you may find you get more used to writing in this way with a finger.
I compose music on the piano and have been looking for a great composition app like this! I noticed under features on the apple app page it says that I can use a midi cable to hook up music playing devices. Does this mean I could connect my full sized electric piano and play directly onto the sheet music? Is a midi chord able to hook up to an iPad mini as we'll? Thanks!
Hi Kayla, NotateMe currently does not support MIDI entry.
wow! although I am skeptical as I found the desktop versions of photoscore and audio score an absolute nightmare to use. Also they really need to hire a proper UI designer, it just looks like ancient software with a hand drawn UI, as does the website...
Thanks for your comments Jeremy. We designed NotateMe's UI to be non-intrusive so the user can focus on what they are writing.
Would love a drum notation one please!

Finally, I have been waiting for this. This will be a good reason for buying an ipad or any tablet.
The app looks great! very good job. I world like to know if it has drum set notation, and if you intend to place it. Graciously
Thank you :) Currently no drum set notation, but we take user requests very seriously.
NotateMe All that is really needed for drum notation is for the app to recognize an "X" for a note head to represent rim shots and cymbals.
NotateMe There's a lot of drummers & drum teachers that would use this.
Brilliant. I am definitely going to get this - I have been looking for something like this since the ipad came out. Is it possible to export the score to do more detailed work say in Sibelius?
Absolutely - you can export MusicXML files which Sibelius (and most notation programs) open.
Can we have information when audioscore and photoscore will be added for purchase and how much they will cost? For pc i know the price and its too high...
I just ordered a tablet because of your app! Question. Can you write lyrics with the score, music marks like accelaration, crescendo etc and the app understand them? If no, is it in your future plans?
You can add lyrics to your score (entered by keyboard). Crescendo and diminuendo can be drawn. You will be able to add dynamic text in the next update.
NotateMe Thank you. I just bought the app for my ipad to test it :)
