At my low level I play the Smith-Morra Gambit against the Sicilian all the time. I'm not good, but generally have decent results as the pressure builds and builds until the opponent's defenses crack. Good instructive video. I am not familiar with you, but will continue following you on UA-cam.

I loved all 3 videos in this series. Great title by the way! I think you do a great job. More Dragon Days ideas: did you see Giri has a new book (Chessable) coming out on Dragon? And Heine Nielsen has a recently updated version of his book on the Accelerated Dragon not that long ago. I'm coming back to chess after a long absence and trying to decide what to play against e4. Dragon seems to have a slightly better reputation now than when I played before, but still a lot of theory to learn. I'm trying to play Alekhine's defense to reduce the amount of theory to learn. I also like Petroff (Russian): do you think it's too drawish to play at club level?

PerpetualChess had a short saying it specifically says ‘not for cheat detection’ on LetsCheck, yet there’s a lot of chatter (even in the NYT!!) that Hans is soooooo much more accurate than anyone else! Once something was way off in the games, he threw the game with obvious simple moves with nothing complicated. I'm surprised no one notices this. It's not a miracle scam, but obviously evident visually. You know when your playing against a computer, when you practice against one. How who knows... But don't think a 19 year old losses against smaller players and beats the highest ones, and has no brains about it.

Ah yes more JUICY CHESS DRAMA - Jokes aside, I think what Magnus is doing is very obvious, he is putting his foot down on the fact that Hans should NOT be invited to any of these events and he is simply not worthy of being in the same company as the other players there. Probably due to his cheating history and obv potential cheating against Magnus in whatever mysterious way it was. if Events want a proper consistent experience, they will have to choose Magnus or Hans

My 2 cents worth is that when in the post-game interview Hans said "this was the opening I reviewed this morning" Mangus blew his top, suspecting a hack & was cross-eyed mad & wouldn't have been able to concentrate.

Like a lot of the comments say I thought the rook sack on h8 (08:23) was flawed at first glance because of the black bishop on c3. So I checked the position out with stockfish, have to say it checks out, no escaping mate for black in the end.. Nice vid!

At 8:25, black bishop at c3 can take white bishop at f6. This seems to lose for white?
