This is a great video to show the process. Thank you! I remember spending so much time early in my career in the late 1990s getting all of the files exported. I started using Logo Package Express software a few years ago that vastly automates everything. Literally takes a few minutes now. I would also start with CMYK with logo design as the gamut is much smaller and going to RGB will yield better results when reproducing color for on-screen use. RGB tends to desaturate when going to CMYK rather than the other way around. 👍🏻

I was in the army for 10 years and the logo not lining up with the surfing image gives me some problems. Is this something that was intentional, I would be interested in your thoughts about why you positioned it there because the text on the left is aligned with the surfing image?
Thanks for watching! I think you make a valid point, the logo could certainly align right with the image. I used the grids for logo alignment in the video instead of the image, I think either one works!
Is this feature only available through Illustrator, or can it be done within Photoshop too?

Hello! I have never used artboards in InDesign, so I’m not sure. Did a quick search and don’t see it in the interface.
That is a great idea. Another option is to use the *_Snipping Tool_* free app on the Microsoft Store and take a full page, or a picture from the webpage.

I've been a designer for 20 years and have done hundreds of "text on circle" designs and have always done that bottom text in a more clunky fashion by making the 2nd circle bigger but eyeballing it. Thank you for the baseline tip!!! That is SUPER helpful!!

Thank you! When I look at the image in Preview, it looks like the shadows washed out. Is this normal after converting to CMYK? Also, do you have a suggestion for a lesson for processing for wedding portraits?
Yes, it’s normal for colors to look washed out in CMYK when viewing on a screen. I would highly recommend doing test prints if possible to see true colors on the paper. I don’t have specific course recs, but when I did wedding photography, I culled using Adobe Bridge and did bulk editing using Lightroom. Any difficult edits were then opened in Photoshop from Lightroom. Hope that helps!

When i click image properties says dpi is set 96
You will need to change the DPI to 300.
Shouldn't it be PDF. not JPEG for print?
For just an image, I always do a JPG. PDFs are usually best when there are lots of design elements that you need to compress into a file.
