The TTC only goes 75 km/h on that section

Lol, BART in the SF Bay Area goes 80 mph (about 130 km/h) in regular operation. That’s almost twice faster. The Toronto subway has a pretty standard top and average speed for a metro.

Don't take it personally. It's israel and they have an awesome guarded system. I was also questioned etc by multiple agents but it's all in good faith. It's the most hotly debated country in the world, the holy land, it has to be guarded. Also taking photos upon arrival at ben gurion is not at all a good idea.
