Hi 👋 It was my first time watching your video and I loved it. Where is this store located?
@@ThriftingChicago hi! I'm actually located in Pennsylvania. A town called Schuylkill Haven. The place the locals call the Dirt Mall. It is a local farmers market.

Back in the garden. This summer heat has been extreme. I can only garden for a few minutes towards the late evening hours. But I treasure the time spent. ❤
You might get some more information on that little ‘gold’ piece if you check out ‘Weeping Gold’ or ‘Hollywood Regency’ I think I’ve seen similar stuff in those categories…
Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. I did take a quick look but Weeping Gold is very different pattern. I didn't have much luck with Hollywood Regency. Only if producers marked their item my life would be easier lol. But thank you!
Hi Amanda!...I always enjoy going to thrift stores like this. I always think..if these items could talk what amazing stories they could tell. It appears your mom really enjoys these places too. Take care!🇨🇦
Hi! Yes, it is a renewed hobby that my mom enjoys. It is great for her as she is a retiree. Keeps her going :) I love learning the history and marveling at the beautiful items.
Good 👀 eyes!
Hehe thanks but it comes with practice. :)
From dirt to gold! Literally! ❤
Why would they put the delicate,$75.00 swan thingy on such a high shelf?
So kids won’t mess with it.
I think the cast iron ducky thingies are called "Book Ends"
Yes, I know. But the tag said sorry stopper. Suppose they can be used for both.
Hi Amanda!...I missed this video when posted..just noticed it now. I also love visiting Antique stores. We had many antique furniture and miscellaneous items. Had many from my parents and purchased a lot. Also bought at country auctions...those were fun. Unfortunately we have been downsizing in recent years and had to sell a lot.☹️Lots of nice items in the store you visited. I hope you're doing well with your business.Take care!🇨🇦
@alfredkloos8591 Hi Alfred! Yes, antiques are one.of a kind. I swear I was born in the wrong Era. Hope you are well.
Veronicastrum virginicum/Culver's root is native. I bought one at the native plant sale, but it is really struggling to live... 😢

@@alfredkloos8591 you too :)
What an interesting conversation you got to have with Laura. I love the Penn State extension!! I just wish they offered more classes here in this area, but they do have lots of learning opportunities online. I did not buy annuals this year either. My new goal is to grow everything myself now from seeds or trades. Losing trail gardens was a huge loss for us local plant people. ☹Have a nice weekend!
Hello! Glad you enjoyed it. Laura said there will be an even coming up at that location. Check their FB page for more details. I'm going :)
I bought almost dead looking shasta daisies off of the Lowe’s clearance rack last year, they came back this year and looked so amazing. Definitely a thumbs up.
Nice job!
Asiatic Lillies, Easter lilies, and lilies in general are highly toxic to cats!! Please be aware if you have cats in or outside your home just a little bit of pollen can make them deathly ill and kill them. Google a plant before you buy it to see if it’s toxic to dogs or cats, an ounce of prevention can help save a beloved pet!
absolutely!

Hi Amanda, Thanks for the stroll through the park. Whoever designed that park did a great job. Hey whatever happened to your mailman friend ? @@alfredkloos8591 Hi! Yes, my veggies are starting to produce flowers so it is a step in the right direction. Good to hear from you!
Good video. I'm in zone 8. We don't hardly have anything. I can't believe there are that many Hostas & Coral Bells. Ours has been out for weeks. Lowes, Home Depot, etc here doesnt close till 10pm. They close the gate to the parking lot at dark but you can always just go through the store to the garden center. There are always workers in there. I go at night a lot because it has gotten so dark here. Anyway, I enjoyed your video but I'm very jealous 😂
