Correct, dye-sub printers are USB-only in general. No wifi/network, which means no airprint. So yes you need the WCM Plus or Aircast Pro.

You can use any computer including windows, so long as it has a modern web browser - ie. no internet explorer from 12 years ago!

Yes I believe the WCM2 does support this but you can check with DNP to be sure. However, the spooling that happens on the WCM2 unit itself is what's slow, so this might not speed things up much at all. You're better off looking at the WCM Plus which is a LOT faster

I do not think the WCM2 supports wired printing like this. We recommend upgrading to the WCM Plus which does support it. Please contact DNP to be sure!

Yes we support Sony cameras. Not every camera works of course, so try it all out for free by using preview mode or your 3 free events before you make a purchase

Yes you can! You can also have a DSLR/USB camera connected at the same time. You do this with a USB-C hub that has power in (to charge the ipad), with a USB-C iPad. Please see our Recommended Hardware page, here: help.booth.events/article/71-our-recommended-hardware

Hi Kathy although we do not officially support this camera because it won't work over USB, you may be able to turn on wifi connectivity in our app (under Advanced Controls) and get it working over wifi!

Agreed. This is the only pitfall I can see but it’s a pretty big one. Real shame but on the right track.

The password is the same for everyone so it's possible password sharing could occur. For many of the booth setups we've seen that are pay-per-use there is not a lineup of people waiting to use them as they're 24/7

Hi the a6000 is not officially supported, however some people have reported that it works for them. It's free to try, and yes the steps are the same.

You can also print via wifi but wired printing is faster and more reliable. You can power the iPad while it is plugged in to a USB-C hub by powering the hub, usually by plugging in a USB-C cord with power into the hub. USB-C hubs typically have only one port for power in.

So if I hard wire it to the iPad then I can connect the iPad to venue or hotspot wifi so that I can digital share at the same time?

It works with photos from any camera, including DSLRs!

We've received conflicting reports about that specific model: for some people it works fine, for others it doesn't work at all. So we officially do not support it. But the app is free to download and try out with your camera, you can try it all out in about 60 seconds. So I'd recommend just try it out! The app is called "Booth.Events" on the app store.
