I was listening to evanescence in the car with my uncle and on the third song he made me switch artists, saying all of their songs sound the same. And I realized they sort of do. Amy likes to show off her voice with good reason. It's haunting. But honestly that isn't what I like most. Their songs are creative. They make a story from raw feelings. Beautiful poetry. I'm a writer and they influence some of my poems or short stories. I even quoted two of the songs in two of my poems and made 4 simple lines into a beautiful or haunting story. Her and Ben are so inspirational. I did the same with some Within Temptation songs as well. If you're curious message me and I'll send you links. If not, just listen with your mind, not your ears and you'll see what I mean.
