When you get good at the octatrack I image you are able to sort of visualize the internal structure of the machine and know where you need to go to do what you want to do.

Great video, question for you, can you load pre-recorded audio into the tracks / buffer from the Norns instead of using the input in to record audio?

Just came across your channel - digging the weird ass sense of humor 😂. I was having so many issues with Live, UI slowness, random crashes on loading livesets, a freaking mess 5:13 . I switched to Bitwig a year and a half ago, and I’m so happy I did, it’s similar enough that the learning curve to get you up and running is pretty low, at least for the major bread and butter kind of features. And this comes from someone who started using live like in version 5 or so - I was a die hard fanboy but could not tolerate the instability anymore.

One question... I'm preparing a live set and finally took the octatrack out. I use it to play longer stems. If I play a new song, I have to use another part...so mutch so good, but are the parts for.the patterns, or the bank?
