Hello, after spending many years studying Cities for the Government as a job and academia. U.K is so behind in regeneration of its Cities. Models like Tokyo and a few others around the world could be used as a good example to promote regenerative programs. Thank you for a lovely video.
It’s wonderful to hear about your research on cities. I admire the UK and other European countries for their rich history and unique urban development approaches. The Tokyo Bay area shown in the video was once filled with vacant lots after the collapse of the bubble economy, but it has since transformed into a vibrant and thriving region. Used to live somewhere along the Yurikamome line stops when I was in Japan for 2 years. I had to take the Yurikamome train almost everyday to go to my campus in Hongo. This is such a stunning video - captures exactly how it beautiful is in real life. I might have taken my blessings in the past for granted - but I did love going on the Yurikamome train, no matter how many times I had seen the exact same view. Thank you very much for bringing my past memories to life. I will come back to Japan again someday, to settle down for a long time.
