@@Zilyates i play widowmaker because its fun. is it more fun when i have a mercy pocket? sure. but as someone that plays games for fun, not competitively, widowmaker is fun for me. i dont understand how thats an issue 😭

@@zekromsss it's not, what it is is annoying when someone says they play a character for fun who's crazy good in low rank and every clip they show is them with a mercy pocket. it implies a mindset that you only have fun on a character when they're near broken (in low ranks mainly) which is an annoying mindset, like the type of widows who have a hard mercy pocket and talk shit in chat cuz they're goated when all they are is pocketed so no i don't think playing widow for fun is an issue, nor do i think the clips you showed are bad, you implied the annoying mindset from the clips you chose since each one was your friend pocketing you not a rando so it implies you asked them to pocket you if yo see what i'm getting at

@@Zilyates for one, if it makes you sleep better, i can assure you im not toxic in chats or anything. i understand im not better than anyone else and that everyone's at different skill levels in this game. secondly, i never asked for a mercy pocket. i play overwatch with my friend because theyre my friend, and they would like me to play dps sometimes. they play mercy and choose to pocket me. im going to play widow regardless if i have a mercy pocket or not, its still quite fun. do i admit that its way easier to play widow with a mercy pocket? 1000%. it nullifies literally every counter for a widowmaker player in the game. i understand what youre getting at. ive seen many widow players that are complete assholes, just low rank smurfs with a name like "pocketme" or "rezme" just shitting on people. but also, i saw you mention low rank stuff. i have like 3-4 hours in comp. most if not all of these clips are QP clips. i dont care to rank up nor do i care about being competitive in this game.
