    how do you change the torque of one motor over the other for yaw movement? Do you control the throttle of both motors separately ?

    • @vgr-systems

      yes, like a classic birotor, rgds

      do you have a yaw control ? and can this idea be made on 2 gasoline motors ?

    • @vgr-systems
      @vgr-systems 7 років тому

      Yes, with a different torque between the upper and lower prop. Why not with gasoline motor but not so easy to design a contra-rotative gasoline motor.

    Very cool drone! Btw, which program are you guys in your Custom FC? MultiWii, APM, or your own custom code? I'm very curious go know.

      Thks, It was a custom firmware programmed for PIC32 from Microchip. Interesting development but I stopped and bought a CC3D revo instead. rgds

      VGR-Systems very cool! Regarding the CC3D, are you still using a custom firmware?

    • @vgr-systems
      @vgr-systems 7 років тому

      no, It's librepilot firmware librepilot.atlassian.net/wiki/display/LPDOC/Welcome

    • @vgr-systems
      @vgr-systems 7 років тому

      It was a custom fc but i tried a CC3D without any problems. I used librepilot. Nevertheless I think tha t3s is mandatory for this motor.

    Benefit should be efficient with the additional more complex tilt plane, so large propellers should be used, also lower prop should be smaller diameter and higher pitch as it is under the smaller and faster down wash.

    The only thing missing is a sleek shell to reduce drag and a tripod landing gear. Maybe start with a cut in half PET Bottle and some CF Rods sticking out of it?

    • @vgr-systems
      @vgr-systems 7 років тому

      Duraltia yes !! But through holes in bottom of the frame you can slide carbon rods to have a landing gear... more easy for pid tuning :)) you can see it on the other vids in my youtube page. Thks for your comment!

    Just curious, what servos are you using? They must be very strong.

    • @vgr-systems

      I thought but actually not. A micro digital servo like ds385 is enough.

    • @kennethwang7045

    Looks good, however, how can yaw movement be controlled using only 1 motor? Can you give some updates about that invention?

    • @vgr-systems
      @vgr-systems 7 років тому

      Yes, it's a contra rotative brushless motor. Yaw is controlled by the speed of each prop. More updates on diydrones see vgrsystems blog. Thanks!
