Stefan, your Scottish Fantasy is absolutely outstanding. That performance with Rumon Gamba and the Sinfónica de Galicia is without peer. Your musicianship is glorious. Watch the Concertmaster's and first chair Cellist's reactions at the end. The Cellist's reaction is like a proud papa after having watched his son make his Carnegie Hall debut. Kudos to you.

Check out Jose Daniel Vargas😃! This is YCP and I was blessed to sit in audience, listening to kids composing their own music and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra playing these wonderful creations that these great young musicians produced. I miss my Son!!!

Amazing insight. I have only recently delved into learning music after years of just playing. I happened to remember a story of "beethoven's broken metronome", it brought me to this. I got to thinking, the similarities to punkrock are intriguing. We can only play the instruments we have, so occasionally we just go louder and more abrupt as opposed to a relaxing harmonic melody (terminology?). I'm just curious as someone who has only the loosest grip on why and how music actually "works", if this could be an accurate interpretation.

It was a GREAT performance. My favorite recording has always been Giulini's from the 1960's, and this equalled in every way, with perfect sound, The singers were excellent.
