not working properly as you can see
But is the part rename in file manager or not .?
How to get rid of the (-) in the assembly for example in the long part 7?
Excelent
Thank You Very Very Much....Sir...Got an Exact Answer...🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
didnt work for me moving the pin does not move the rack.
Sir Feature dimensions not showing in assembly mode
10/10, helped me prepare for an exam! (also this works on the 2024 version of SolidWorkss too, so I'm assuming it works for ALL versions of SolidWorks
Thank you--straight-forward and helpful!
Thanks 🙏
this is very useful.
1:16 wtf
Thanks
So great sir
Very weldon sir
Thank a lot sir
Thank u sir
thank you
cool bro
Very amazing this lecture sir
Gread vid
Does this work for features like shell and ribs?
Pretty much anything that creates a dimension
cheers
good
Simple, to the point! Thank you
Sir I have to mirror some parts using the same method but appearance of the mirror parts are greyed in colour. How to make the appearance of them like parent parts??
Thank you for this video. I want to move not the component within the assembly but the part itself and I can't see that toll on the panel. Do you know how to do it?
Thank you! Great video 😊
thanks very helpful
For this problem I have the solution: I created a tool for SolidWorks that renames all its components (including the drawings) following the sequence of the FeatureManager design tree, automatically in a few seconds (depends on the capacity of your computer).
Give me
Please
Hi nick, Greetings from Egypt Thank you so much it helped 👏
franchement merci mon bon vieux nick
split feature is grey , do you know how to enable it ?
do you mean 'Alt' key ??
Thanks man
is there a way to make edits or delete a part in assembly without effecting the original part file?
No, unfortunately. That’s why solid works is trash and it’s outdated asl
@@anthonywu8257 there is a way to do it - it's called creating a copy of the file, lol.
Thank you so much sir
Thank you Nick, awesome vid, very helpful!!!
Thank you! You really saved me a lot of time and effort lol
Thanks
concise ty
Great sir
5+
Can reference planes not be associated with global variables? I'm coming from fusion and I really grew to love their parametric system. I had it pretty dialed. this feels very clunky
Absolutely can do that, Not all features let you do it right at the start, not entirely sure why (might be technical reasons for that) Either way if that’s what you’re struggling with, enable a couple of the dimensions and you should be able to see the dimensions for the plane. You can also use the annotations folder (enable to show them there first in the same menu as enabling seeing the dimensions) Dubbel click that and you can fill in any equation or variable like normal. Keep in mind though with parametric design that if it gets complicated, it’s gonna get a lot worse really quickly. Currently working on a largely sheet metal housing with several sections and hardware. I made the whole thing parametric using like 40 global variables and tons more equations. I’ve not put in most of the details yet, this is so far mostly just the outside frame and a few important things like the hinges. But I shouldn’t need many more variables, the rest should mostly already exist, I can base of an existing one or is just a specific thing (though if I think I might want to adjust it I usually at least put it in the part itself. Usually they would all be in the assembly. Just so that way it doesn’t add to the clutter but I won’t forget about it.
This is blurry
Thank you.
This is good video!
Shout out to my boy Nick for making this video. Girlfriend is taking a CAD class, could not figure this out till I found this vid. Fucking Alt man. Thats all it was. Thanks dawg
My solidworks doesnt have that feature
Good video 👍
