Im confused... why did that first red come out? Also, I've been to dozens of tracks and normally if you dont obey red flags theyll kick you out of the track, yet there were 2 red flags that very few cars obeyed. Did they not have yellows or what? Genuinely confused.

Have you you ever watched the 1969 racing movie called Pit Stop? You might love it!! It's about grass roots figure 8 racers. It's one of my favourite all time racing movies, it's one of my favourite movies period. I didn't race figure 8, but I raced enduro stock cars north of Toronto in the 1980's, and the movie brings back many memories for me. You can watch it for free on UA-cam, I still watch it a ton. The racing in the movie was filmed at the legendary Ascot Park Speedway in Los Angeles.

This was the kind of figure 8 racing I rarely saw growing up because we always had guys that would just stop before the X. The outlaw guys weren't any better. Great show even if it did get cut short.
