A busy morning at Tower A as Amtrak's Cardinal was late which required a crew to travel from Indianapolis, pushing it's departure to around 7:30. The picture at 43:01 was where i once took a lunch break in the mid 80's. There i where i witnessed a switcher crew almost soil themselves when 2 cars that weren't properly braked that they set aside, started to roll towards the downtown area. That crew tore off after it with that s1 in highball and rammed knuckles just in time. Dam lucky
As a truck driver i love the railroad they will do everything they can not to compete

Yes. I credited the slide to him in the show. I love how it shows the park being constructed around the tracks.

I grew up in Westwood and remember the summit Yard . when we would shop at Swallen's. I remember where it was next to Jerry's restaurant was at near Western Photo and Hobby (Mike) & Western Bowl at Westbourn Dr. in Bridgetown and the BridgetownTresstle. Nice to see these pictures. I see the Western Bowl sign and the Tresstle from my backyard

We are having equipment issues with the rail camera live streams. Our team is working hard to identify the issues & repair or replace any affected equipment. I lived on Esmonde Street Between Quebec and Grand Ave. I loved the trains...they helped me sleep at night. The tracks were up the hill across the street from our house, and my friends house was almost right next to the tracks across from my house.
Awesome presentation!! Hopefully one day we can see something on the trestles from Cheviot Yard to Fernald.
