When you are looking at the backside of the camera… on top left corner there is a toggle switch which turns. It’s the lock switch for all the dials. You might have enabled the lock mode accidentally… please have a look

Between the Sony and Tamron, I would prefer the Sony 70-350mm; it has good tactile buttons for AF/MF and it’s OSS lens. In my personal experience the Sony OSS provides better compensation than Tamron VC.

The only difference is focal length at wider end I.e - 50mm vs 70mm.. which you can compensate with the Sony by moving a bit away. Hope it’s helps in your decision making buddy. Cheers. Happy Snapping.

Yep.. the one I have and seen in the shops have the end cap to protect the adhesive. I removed the end cap to stick it on my cars dashboard. Did you get any plastic piece over the adhesive?

Yes. Working fine till now with bit of maintenance .. almost close to a year. Whenever I have issue, clean it under tap water. As I keep changing it between surfaces it helps in cleaning the dust.

@YoddhaWarrior yes… I feel it’s worth it. Especially allowing flexibility to mount on so many different places and keep reusing it. I mounted it on cars dash, outside, tables in parks, glass(only once) .. never faced an issue with it… it does loose its stickiness when it too hot.. like 32-35degreesC

It’s a wonderful lens and real value for price paid. I don’t own a Leica 25mm but do own a Leica 9mm F1.7. Being a 9am gives a different perspective and Sharp at even closer distances to the subject. There is a significant difference between f1.7 and f1.4 and it depends purely on the shooting style and images you are looking for. If you are at F5.6-8 it would not make much difference. Wish you the best.

It’s from Healesville Sanctuary Zoo mate. These enclosures have the water mist system for Koala’s to beat the heat on hot days.

They started from 2.5mts and increased. The depth is based on - depth of solid ground+ fill height. The depth of solid ground is achieved when they did soil testing at the start of the proposal stage to build house

They drilled 3 holes at my property during the Soil testing and figured out when the actual hard ground is. Then based on fill height.. the bore height was determined.

It’s a very versatile drone. A stable one in moderate windy situations. I am happy with my purchase. Especially fly more combo.

The cool thing is on the fly you can create vertical videos or photo from horizontal mode. I shoot in 4K 60fps. The slow no videos are gorgeous. For sunsets we need ND filters, which are available on Amazon. Not that expensive.

I have 12-60mm lumix lens. The difference between 12mm and 9mm is significant if you are taking pics indoors or capturing nature on travel.

It’s not a cheap lens. I got it on a Boxing Day sale. Have a look around and take your time in getting one. Hopefully on an offer.

In my understanding- Yes .. all new builds… especially in P class soil need agi drains around the slab or retaining walls

@@myt3 how to verify this? Will this be part of drainage diagram?

@@myt3 the retaining walls have agri drain, but not sure of they have use that white screen cover over the agi pipe like yours. I couldn't find anything around the slab but the structural engineers drawing had instructions under drainage design requirements : surface drainage shall be design during construction & having grading slope of 50mm. But does not necessarily says agi pipe.

My soil was rated as ‘P’ class due to a lot of fill … since it’s an engineer piers and slab.. the slab is of ‘M’ class. The peirs and slab are not mechanically connected .. the slab rests on the peirs … as it’s engineered … the sheer weight of the slab ensures it rests on the peirs…

There are also special reinforcement beams in the slab along the lines of peirs to additional load bearing.. the way they are designed is that, once the slab hardens it can just stand on the peirs… all this effort is to ensure that the slab does not move over the years due to ground movement

@@myt3 Similar case as yours: my off the plan house builder going with M-class slab waffle pod for p class site 85mm thick 20mpa slab for a double storey. The concrete piers are set in. Bit concern about having M-class slab design by structural engineer on a p class site, usually they specify H1 class slab. Interestingly the block behind mine has the same model house (80% completed) has H1 class slab but for ours the same engineer specified M-class. Read few horror stories about slab heave and our warranties is only 6 years. Does your house have concrete apron around? What preventive measures can be taken to avoid water getting under slab? My per item ribs are 400mm thick and internal ribs are 300mm thick.. check if you have something similar.. to avoid water ingress.. I have ensure a battered slope of 1mts away for the slab.. hope you have Agri drains surrounding your slab… after hand over I am doing self landscaping where for 1mts it will mulch over that slope and rest will be gravel or concrete… all the best for your build mate…

@@myt3 haven't asked about the agri drain on the slab, but shouldn't it be mandatory as per standard As 2870? I was thinking of getting rid of pebbles and build a concrete apron connecting to the storm water. But I reckon this to be designed by engineer and needs compliance. Is this same having grading landscape you think of doing?
