Your home is lovely! Years ago I found myself overcommitting my family to too many good opportunities, and the Lord graciously pulled me back and showed me that we needed to say no and be home more. I have always been so grateful for His leading and correcting me so I had more time in the home with my children. Thank you for all you shared!

Hi, this might be the wrong channel. I know traditionally God calls men and women to have different roles. With men being the head, and women being the keepers at home and marry and bear children. I also know how modern day society looks down at women who are tradwives. Homemaking is a valuable job. It's sad. Why do Christians look down on single women, especially those with jobs? I hear it a lot from other homemakers and pastors that marriage is a requirement, which I'm not against. I know in the Bible Apostle Paul said some people (not all) will remain single. It seems God and society favors single men and not women.

Same. I stay up way too late to make up for no free time during the day and STRUGGLE to wake up early. My husband has to continuously tell me to get up every morning so I can have a small bit of time to get my head in the right place before the kids are up and we start school.

I’ve had similar experiences. I’m a few decades older and still haven’t met my real father and when my children ask, there’s a lot of bashing me and avoiding direct answers. I gave up. Worse thing is.. I was born on Father’s Day. What a horrible feeling every year. Thank you for sharing your journey! Stay encouraged and vigilant!😊
