If you're thinking of moving to Regina, or even Saskatchewan, you've gotta be insane. Other things you didnt mention is that the water is so hard that water softeners are common here. The climate is brutal here as you either sweat to death in Summer or freeze to death in Winter. There is no happy medium. And the expression is "if you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes" (not an hour) Are you even from Regina??😂
@@MarkB.-mo3lz haha this is great. But see! The people are great right 😉
Hi friend, great video. I would like some advice, I'm Brazilian and I intend to go to Saskatoon, which area do you think I should focus on for work? So we can get to work now. Another thing, what cost do you think a couple without children will have in a simple life? And if you have any other advice, thank you friend.

Hello Chris, how do you compare Saskatchewan to regional areas in Australia, such as Perth or Adelaide, for available IT job opportunities?
I am not an expert on australia for sure but have been there. Can only generalize. A lot of similarities to australia and canada
Winnipeg has an nhl team and a better arts scene!

Pa is legit . Just has all the bums from the surrounding reserves come and makes a mess

Hey thanks for watching! Happy to help however I can
You seem to have concentrated on the larger centres of both provinces. Let me assure you small town Alberta and Saskatchewan have some wonderful towns to live in and raise a family. City life is not for me and it would have been great for you to also feature rural and small town living.
Would be happy to break it down further and thanks for commenting. Which towns do you think would be ideal to start with first?
Good video. Was last in PA 2 years ago for a health appt. I was shocked at the level of open drug use and intoxication. People passed out on the sidewalks. It was not a safe place to be. Much like Saskatoon's west side. We always used to enjoy visiting PA there are some very nice houses there. It was sad to see the changes.
Prince albert definitely has it’s challenges

This city is a 100% Shit hole! Between the Gang problems and drug addiction problems, this city isn't safe for you to raise kids in anymore... I've lived here all my life basically, odds are you will be assaulted by the downtown loacals "Homeless and drug addicts". Cultural diversity is a lie, the white man is now outnumbered and the natives will try to take advantage to any kindness you show them.
I’ve lived in Prince Albert for the majority of my life and it can be very dangerous. There was a drive-by two houses away from me and a lot of people I know have been threatened because there are a lot of dangerous people here
Can be yeah. But not all bad there are good parts of the city too. Agree you need to navigate with caution. I did mention in the video the crime rates in prince albert. Albeit can still be a very nice city, close to all the lakes

Hi, we are indeed debating whether to live in Saskatoon or Winnipeg. But for us one of the criteria involves whether we can find a golf course that we like, plus, walking and biking trails and plus, a place where we don't have to listen to traffic or train noise. Wish us luck.

Sask has the second rudest population in canada only behind Quebec. That would deter me from ever living there. Maybe Regina is better but my time in saskatoon was horrible. Calgary is the best balance
@@joevanbaidwan3196 rude how? I am not originally from saskatchewan and did not have that experience. Some of the drivers are incompetent yes. People are welcoming at first then only guarded later when they think you might threaten their job
@@Livinginsaskatoonguide people tend to not be open to differing view points, customer service is generally poor, it seems like there just generally unmannered, and a lot of them seem to have a sense of entitlement. It’s not just my opinion a lot of my classmates from other provinces at USask felt the same way.
@@joevanbaidwan3196 sounds like a pretty bold blanket statement. I will say- saskatchewan people do have a sense of pride that can seem like entitlement. I jokingly say “yes there is a big world outside of saskatchewan, but don’t tell the locals haha”. As for service though depends where you go generally I believe it is good. Service in canada generally as compared to countries like Australia and the US is generally very good. Other points of view also I do not disagree there is a small town point of view vibe here people can tend to be stuck in the past like living in the 1980’s here sometimes
In a small town, one has no privacy!!!

Con- Regina is like 95% Indians and Philapinos It doesn't even feel like Canada. Even the Natives are leaving.
That is a deliberate exaggeration, and also not true. Regina’s population is growing. And the indigenous and philipino populations are not weighted as strongly as you suggest it is certainly a diverse population among cultures in saskatchewan
Don’t forget to mention the crime per capita is one of the highest in Canada, right next to Regina
And prince albert, I did make comments about that too. Some neighbourhoods are safer than others as is the case in any city you can find trouble if you go looking for it
