Keith Set June 2017 copy
Live from Surya London for Bowienetters Meetup audience recording
A short set of Bowie covers played by Keith 'weirdogilly' Karrot at Surya London on July the 1st 2017. It is an audience recording so there is a lot of background noise but I think it is still interesting:
1) Dead Man Walking
2) Win
3) Because you're Young
4) The Man Who Sold The World
Not trying to prove anything, Hope you like it :)

This. Saw it once in 1983 on MTV - and was transfixed. Fell in love right there and then. Never got over it, The most brilliant, challenging, inspiring, artist of our time - how lucky are we to share the planet with this incredible person.
Who can tell me if you feel a Nietszche power in this song may the Ubermench just died
DEEP BOWIE THIS IS ART MUSIC HUMANISMN PHILOS and SOPHIA may good may bad but may just i dont known !!!!
Personally, I always found Quicksand to be Bowie's most beautiful song.
I just cant stop lovin this fella
My neighbor must have been impressed, he was keeping perfect time while he was banging on the wall.
That's one badass biatch on the bass.
THE REAL KING OF ROCK. MISS YOU DAVID BOWIE R,I,P ZIGGY STARDUST,THIN WHITE DUKE
Literally sitting here, crying. Crying about that he is no more and that I have never been to one of his concerts. Farewell, David, you were truly unique, beautiful and a bright star that will never stop shining in our memories (yes, I had a couple glasses of wine but you know, in vino veritas)
That's a true tragedy! I myself saw David Bowie not once or even twice, but three times. 1987's Glass Spider Tour, 1990's Sound + Vision Tour & A Reality Tour back in 2004. I've been a David Bowie fan for nearly 56 years and seeing Bowie live is incredible. It's like a religious experience that stays with you for the rest of your life. We lost David Bowie far too soon. The man is, was & always will be a true legend. Sadly you missed out on seeing one hell of a great showman & entertainer. The man's legend has a legend. It's truly unfortunate that you never got to see David Bowie live. However he left us a great body of work, music, movies & videos. Unfortunately there's no substitute for catching the Grand Master Live in Action. May David Bowie Rest In Peace & may all of us fans take comfort in David Bowie's incredibly unique body of amazing work.
Much loved Much missed😊😊
I know how you feel,I've been a life long David Bowie fan & I still cry over his death from time to time. I also feel very fortunate to have seen David Bowie live three times. The death of David Bowie hit me real hard. However like David Bowie said : Welcome to Reality!!!
Fk I just listened to that al, the way through … the guy must be bonkers … brilliant but fkn bonkers 😝
I have "Knowledge comes with Death's release" as a tattoo.
I got a Bowie tattoo from the Aladdin Sane album on my right arm :)
Very Cool!!!
Do you know something. There was nothing David couldn't do. He could go from singing classical all the way through to Heavy Rock. He is badly missed. I have not seen anyone come close to him in talent and voice. X
😀énorme 🕺⭐️💫⚡️❤️
Makes me sad❤
Énorme 😀rock❤
Gail is wonderful…bass killer.
The coolest guy of all times in the universe.Reeves was drunk?
Una auténtica maravilla. !!!
What spetaculer sound!!!!
Tell the others
I was 19 at this concert. If they could have gotten like 16 more drummers to play on this track it would have been so almost hiding the fact that Bowie is playing with a drummer who was the drummer for a legendary NYC performance of a David Bowie song by a different legend, but y'know 3 drummers isn't bad...for anything. Sleep tight
In Syracuse I went to the giftwrapping service desk of a department store to buy tickmaster tickets as one did in those days. I heard Beck was playing in NYC on his Odelay tour. While that ticket was printing, on a lark, I asked the old lady "Got any David Bowie tickets?" She said "I have David Bowie and special guests at Madison Square Garden" I ran to meet up with the p.is. who was my best friend at the time working in the Mall's comic book store to ask for a ride. Then went back and got the tickets. It was out if this world.
Looks like a fun song to play.
What a wordsmith !
Ghrol is beating those motherfuckers like they owe him money 😂
Adore....super sick!!!...xxoo
Davids Birthday concert was the best ever loved every minuite 🎉❤
Quelle élégance...
Is he really 50 here? Beautiful human.
❤🎉😢 I was fortunate to have met David and Iman Jones and they were So Very Sweet and Happy to See Me 💗🥰
This is how I remember it in 1983. Forty years on, I'm still listening.
Quelle énergie, j'adore
Isn't there a non-blurry version of this? I swear I saw it somewhere. It truly is a work of art.
My imagination sees the gang of misfits and pranksters of Mac and the boys from Cannery Row...
Reeves is so good , the sustainer is killer and complimented Mr. Bowie. RIP Starman 🙏 A Legand ✌️ 🤘 🏴 🇦🇺
RS with a Parker Fly, awesome.
A pure timeless masterpiece
A pure timeless masterpiece of rock hAllo space Boy
wHAT A LINE UP !
I played this song the day he died , on repeat, for endless times.
These kinds of songs certify the genius of Bowie.
This is the most insane version of this song, the energy is off the charts.
I hope Frank enjoyed this, he looks like he does.
La meilleure version de "Scary monsters " avec un Reeves Gabrels complètement à la guitare ❤ L'anniversaire de David Bowie inoubliable ..
