I woke up this morning with the chorus of weakend revolution in my head and had to look up the song because I hadn't heard this album in probably 20 years and totally forgot this incredible band I used to skate to back in the day. First heard them on punkorama vol. 4. Long live Swedish hardcore!

I bought this double cd without knowing them as a kid. It was so amazing, imagine getting a double cd like this of an amazing band in one go.. this brings back so many memories.. def best punk band of all time (2nd : opp ivy) Perfect mix between diy sound/talent/melodious/hardness.. Emperor my fav song

Man, did anyone catch the piece Double Cross did on this? With Gordo and Tim McMahon? It was like 8 years ago or something. So what is the consensus? Wasn't this the time when the Rev Summer stuff was coming out? It seems to me like there were a lot of things happening. 7 Seconds had done New Wind a few years before and everyone lost it right? Was it that they were trying to go for a more mainstream sound (mainstream 80's/new wave, etc.) or was there a little bit of the DC vibe in here? Since The Faith had stated the sound shift and soon afterward Embrace, Rites of Spring, One Last Wish? As a person who wasn't there in the 80's and having the benefit of hindsight I've listened to this album a lot and in my mind it is linked to the DC stuff and the emotive kind of shift like Verbal Assault and other bands I'm forgetting. I love this album. I know it is reviled like Grave New World but I still love it. Also those Wish To Dream shirts were amazing. Wish To Dream is a hard ass fucking song too. Pat seemed like a deep ass dude. Love all the lore about him. Love knows no boundaries, even the ones men make. You receive nothing, cause all you do is take...
