Weekend Trip to Finland 🤍
First time visiting the Arctic Circle and I can confirm it’s even more magical than how it appears in the photos! In this vlog, I take you along we me on a weekend trip I took to Rovaniemi, Finland. From London, the flights are very accessible making this a perfect weekend trip. We stayed at Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle, an igloo hotel located at Santa Claus Village. I highly recommend this accomodation as it is in a convenient location, the igloos are stunning, breakfast is included, and the service overall was impeccable. My friend and I were very lucky as we had clear visibility of the Northern Lights on our very first night! This obviously made the glass igloo experience even more worth it. The activities/excursions we did were centered around animal encounters: horseback riding trail in the Finnish forest, sunset husky sledding over a frozen lake, and a reindeer sleigh ride. We did our activities with Apukka Resort, another service/accomodation provider that I would highly recommend. Apukka provided us with the proper gear to stay warm during these outdoor activities and each excursion concluded with a fireside chat + snacks led by your guide. Truly an unforgettable trip.
