Nature on my doorstep,
my aim is to bring you all of the wonders that this country as to offer, whether that might be a quiet walk in the woods, to watching a stunning sunset Or watching birds nesting in early spring
there might even be a walk around a local church and the churchyard, or simply a quiet gentle walk in the countyside or though a village.
if it's nature my aim is to capture it so please sit back and relax and enjoy and allow the stresses of life to gently disappear.

Do you know how old the grave or cemetery is?
On this grave i could not see any dates as it was covered up but i love how nature reclaims itself the original church was made of timber it dates back to the 13th centuary there was a fire in 1964 and the church was rebuilt in 1965 ive a video inside the church. St marys in elloughton many thanks

My local churchyard is about 1380 years old as a Christian burial site and probably about 1000 years older than that as a pre-Christian burial ground. There are other places much older than that in Britain.

@@Natureonmydoorstep-p1v The current church was originally build around about 1250, modernised in around about 1400 ish with more fashionable larger windows. Nothing particularly outstanding about it other than a wallpainting of St Christopher carrying Christ as a baby on his shoulder - that's not the interesting bit though - the person in the painting praying to St Christopher in the bottom right corner is almost certainly the local lord of the manor about to go on pilgrimage - the person that would have paid for the upkeep of the church. His dress would be about right for 1300 ish.

@@Natureonmydoorstep-p1v no but I will do. He was around when there was real entertainment on tv and in the theatres, I can’t believe how we’ve ended up like this. I went to Blackpool for a couple of days with my wife and bear in mind that this was the 23rd August and the only name that was on anywhere was Jimmy Tarbuck at the Grand Theatre and he wasn’t in the same league as Norman but he is a name for sure, all the others have gone… so so sad!
