I saw him hanging out in downtown Bethesda. I was in awe. He gave me a head nod. Badass player!
Yes
Yes
Goat Jordan
Glad i was able to give this it's 100th like. I've never clicked on a Sponsored video ever.. but I'm glad I actually clicked on this one. It was worth it.
Appreciate the love!
I grew up watching this man in real time. Long before he was anybody and you could tell he was going to be the GOAT. I used to watch this man ball play WTF. Amazing.
This is how your channel is going to take off. Giving young people a summery of what happened in classic times. A+ Video. I use to watch these games on tv with my uncle in the 90s
1:07 You failed to mention X Man. Mcdaniel was a key piece on the 1992 Knicks. They missed him on that 1993 team when they played the Bulls again. They didnt resign him in the off season so he signed with the Celtics instead.
100% correct been saying forever Charles Smith was a drop off from xman offensively and defensively. Plus let's not forget getting blocked on a layup to cost them the series
They were better with Xman but still a mediocre offensive team.
I disagree the Knicks were terrible on offense even with Xman. They were Patrick Ewing and a bunch of role players
@@melvynsngltn27 Starks was a key piece of that team especially in the 1994 NBA Finals before game 7
Bulls were not the leagues first dynasty. 🙄
I think he said that by mistake
He mentioned boston
Do a part 2
Drazen Petrovic is a top 5 shooter in the history of the NBA. Also, each year with the Nets he improved some aspect of his game. He was always a dead shot shooter, but he became a better ball handler, passer and playmaker. Lastly, his on the ball defense improved. My top long range shooters of all time are Peja Stojakovic, Drazen, Curry, Ray Allen & Bird.
frank johnson is the bullshit
Should’ve been Rockets vs Bulls but Thorn didn’t want that smoke!
If Houston had given Hakeem any help it would have been. Don't blame Thorn...
That’s some smooth groove music 🎶 while he narrates this
I know what happened, spoilers 😅😅😅😅.
Kc is about to 3 peat
Oops, this didn't age well. How long til you delete it?
@earthisasphere I don't know I thought they had it in the bag so I was wrong 🤔

a total legend! He had accomplish so much in his career it still sounds weird he was only 28 when he died ! As a European (I'm Greek) of course I remember him,he was a monster , the A' dog , everybody feared him like they feared MJ at the states. There was only one player that somehow mached his greatness at his time in European basketball , Nick Galis from Greece, check his story if you like to dig vintage stuff
Barley was a monster nobody could touch him
*Barkley
@ correct
I'll save you time. Jordan was unstoppable. 41/8.5/6.3 on 51% shooting...
And Phoenix defense was trash
🤡
Lord have mercy…….
@ Sun's had the 9th best def and the number 5 DPOY guarding MJ, with help. Stop lying.
@ Oh, look, a butt hurt MJ hater...
hey mate! Realy nice content,I like the narration/voice,its smooth.UA-cam needed this and I'm sure your subs will grow when people will watch what you are doing here. If I remember well i watched only games 1,2 and 6 of these finals back in the day , as a teenager in Greece.I can recall I was impressed by Richard Dumas, this player was new to me ,so bad he ended his career so soon.I'm saying this because through all these years noone mention him as a part of this Suns run ,happy he found a place at this video. Anyway...I just saw you made the same about the '90 ,'91 and '92 finals so I'll have sth to watch while waiting for the part2! Hope you will continue these ''series'' of vintage NBA finals (or even other series, there are some great conference finals for example that worths a video like this)
great content! very detailed observations on this epic Bulls 93' Finals. Brought alot of memories for me specifically during that time. I always thought the Knicks would beat the bulls that season and Charles would get his only championship. But again Michael is/was the GOAT. subbed! 💯
You kinda just lumped Jokic into a category, but that's not right. Jokic is his own system. Wembanyama can't playmake that well, that consistently. Jokic's defense isn't elite, but Victor is 7 4! Of course he can block more shots. Jokic's defense is still more versatile, positioning, boxing out, and just smart decisions, while Wembanyama is just being generally athletic to bolster shot-blocking. Jokic is demonstrating traditional positional play as a center, but just in a way that no one ever has, like a slow motion point guard or something. He is at the *center* of what is otherwise a positionless offensive system. He single-handedly achieves positionless play for his team while playing a predictable role, a sort of "point center." This opens up a bunch of possibilities for new uses of other positions while also being a development to positionless play at the same time. He's like maxxing out the stats for a player in 2k, but he can still do stuff you *can't* do in that game.
You forgot about Jordan’s technical foul allowing the Blazers took advantage late in regulation.
Yeah don’t ya just love the way Rules are Changed up, it just sucks the Passion out of Competition!!!
Bro i like your videos you have great talent at this , I know one day you will hit your first million 🤞🔥
I appreciate you 🙏🏾
Good shit. Tired of old heads talking about “the right way to play”. If everybody is more skilled and flexible in both offense and defense, how is it not better? it’s only nostalgia speaking if you believe old basketball is better in more than subjective ways.
Pistons were very tired those first two games. Game 1 against Portland was their 6th game in 9 days.
Ja at 7 is a crime bro
Bro wtf you did Trae and Ja soooo wrong
Good video
I played against everybody. He first one I was like damn that's steve Francis
Dude was a special player appreciate the love!
Yes, we know of his story. As well as his parents and most of his relatives.
I knew both his parents and families; from SE D.C.
Steve Francis catalog up, sales, do the NBA Legend thing, Master P No Limit Forever sales, we need product coming out, CDs, DVDs, lets eat when it's hot outside, summertime events, people need to see us, let's make 50 billion 17-OE
Portland lost this series for 3 reasons. (1) They could play smart basketball in close losses on Games 1, 4 and 5. (2) They couldn't stop Isiah Thomas late in Games 1 and 4. (3) Bill Laimbeer had his way with Duckworth.
My older bro had that Buck Williams card lol
He wasn’t perfect, but he was what we needed
good video! the concept in itself was ridiculous but i felt like it ushered in player empowerment.
Agree 100%
Great video. AI is the pound 4 pound GOAT and possibly the most influential player of all time. People wanted to be like Mike. But they saw themselves in AI.
Wonderful documentry on Steve. I love the bit, were Thompson said puting him with AI would make him crazy. Imagine 2 cross over shooting legends on one team. That'll be crazy. Do a video comparing AI, Steve Francis n now Kyrie Erving.
Most people don’t care about Carmelo.
Melo Game Is All About Power & Finesse He Was A Bully Whenever He Post You Up And Had Great Handles For A Guy His Size
Yes crazy to think he was 26 when he went to the Knicks I thought he was always passed his prime by then I only liked him in Denver
I'll pay you to talk basketball and prove melo isn't hated, he's just overrated. Send your inf.
There is no hate. That's what melons fans say when they have no factual, logical rebuttal to produce.
Very well done video.
Hey man, great video. Keep that grind going. You'll get to where you need to be.
Love this vid bro keep doing work
the hate is that he only showed an ambition for greatness when on nuggies. 09 playoffs was the only time i thought "oh, he really cares". after that it was just cash in, maintain rep
I can’t even say that I think the hate is he force his way to NY, recency bias, then he has to deal with the Jeremy Lin situation, and add on the Lebron James is also a problem.
The "hate" is the proof of how he's cancer to championship basketball.
@@Cantstopfactsbruh so is lebron, and countless others. What makes him a cancer?
@tylercanton3836 "so is lebron" lol 1) Melo is cancer because he's an inefficient ballstopper that's horrible at defense and teamball. 2) He gets his points to the detriment of team success. 0 First Team All Nba's and 1 Conference Finals' appearance in 20 years is a testament to that. 3) He only cared about money and stats till he got old. Proof being when he gutted NYs roster instead of waiting till free agency, STAYING on that "bad" team and declining Miami, Lin, Billips: 30 meant too much. I'll pay you if you can tell me where I lied.
@tylercanton3836 So is lebron? Lmao Melon is cancer because he's an inefficient ballstopper that's horrible at defense and teamball. 30 meant more than winning. You don't have to believe that, his old teams that will never retire his jersey believe it.
The fact that he even thought he had no offensive weakness actually became a weakness. The true greats learn to lift their team up, rely on them all while having the ability to dominate in one or two areas at ANY time. His BEST version was with the nuggets with JR and Birdman. They played like an actual team and even got to the WCF. He goes to NY cause he wanted the market and did NOTHING for that franchise and wasted good years there for both him and Phil Jackson. Only reason they made the playoffs in NY with Melo maybe once or twice was because the East was pretty weak in comparison to the west at the time. I respect the guy as an elite offensive basketball talent and a gold medalist. But that doesn't get you rings yo. Gonna be put in the basketball HoF no doubt cause everyone and their sister gets into.
So he’s not a hall of fame player
@@tylercanton3836 0 First Team All Nba's 1 Conference Finals appearance in 20 years 1 Scoring Title Never shot 50%fg in a season If you look at his resume without fan goggles on, its comedy that he wants his jersey retired.
Um 1 Player Can't Win A Your A Ring It's A Team That Win You A Ring And Last Time I Checked Melo Didn't Have Great Consistent Supporting Cast Cause Guys Was Either Hurt Or Didn't Perform When It Matter The Most
@raytheghost1444 Melon gutted NYs roster instead of waiting till free agency. Melon declined Brons offer to go to Miami. He didn't have a "good" supporting cast because 30 meant too much.
excellent video man, subscribed!
