The issue is his speed and stamina. Stamina is definitely good for someone his size but still likely low for the NBA. He's slow though which is expected and that does not suit the NBA. The era of giant bigs in the NBA is over and the league does not favor slow bigs. That's why people like boba (7'4) gets zero game times whereas he used to get triple the minutes years ago . I love edey and hope he suceeds but this is why he will be a late 1st round pick(likely the 20th or 25th pick) despite putting up the most insane CBB numbers.

agree except for Indiana. Indiana took 3 players who were poorly developed on other teams(Jalen Smith, Jordan Nwora, Aaron Nesmith) and they all put up career numbers. Bennedict Mathurin exceeded expectations and their 2nd round pick Andrew Nembhard started everygame and was one vote away from making the all nba rookie team. Pacers would actually be the best place for either one especially since Pacers need a wing.

I honestly just excluded last year's draft class from this since I don't think we can really tell about how they developed until year 3 and/or beyond.

@@wetzel1941 Yes that is correct. Best passer is a stretch as well. Usually raw prospects like that are late lottery, unless the draft pool is very shallow.

From what I see the Rockets can use Amen as a Point Forward distributing the ball to the others. The Rockets got enough scorers to make up for his lack of shooting not to mention he's good at defense as well which is good as well. The pick is fine if the Rockets draft him.
