First off, big thanks to Akko for sending over these awesome switches! While this is a sponsored video, all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
The Akko Botany switch is pretty straightforward. What really stands out to me is the sound profile-right in the middle, not too deep and definitely not muted. It has a nice, satisfying volume, especially when paired with a fully foamed keyboard, which I love! And don't forget that it is a long pole switch. So, for long pole lovers out there, be sure to check out these switches.
One thing worth noting is how smooth these switches are right out of the box. Initially, I thought they were well-lubed, but after checking, there's only a tiny bit of lube on the rails and stem legs. So, props to Akko for the impressive build quality
Tip: Pair these switches with the same config that I did, trust me ;)
However, I do wish it had a heavier actuation force. At 38g, it feels a bit too light, especially compared to most switches out there today.
