i think alot of people forgets that despite the transformations scene maybe 15s, in real time its instant transformation. I dont think i have seen any anime when the girl is knocked out of mid transformation..

I was born in 1991. I grew up watching CardCaptor Sakura dubed in portuguese in Brazil. But it was not in 1996 the year it was released. I watched it around 2000 to 2003. I was really happy when a few years ago they released a new season. It was really cool, i watched it like i was a child again. To this day i still love this anime. I have plushies, action figures, i love this anime so much. Like everybody else from our generation i also watched all seasons from DragonBall Z, but CardCaptor Sakura is the one i love the most because it speaks differently then the others animes that have fights in it and the boys likes it more. Sakura warms my heart, you know, the frindships and love backgrouds are really touching. 👗🎀👘🃏🧸🦁🎂🍨🐈‍⬛

As a little girl, I loved how easy it was for them change outfits and become princesses or rockstars or wear a new disguise for their mission. It was a ability I envied. 💕 Spin around and suddenly you’re beautiful. What fun.

Aside the transformation the only mahou shoujo anime that I liked in all this time was Cardcaptor Sakura, the OST was beautiful , for me the soundtrack is one of the best so far

I would have included Cutie Honey (1973) and Shugo Chara! (2005). Magical Princess Minky Momo original anime started in 1982 and even teamed up with Creamy Mani in a one off OVA in 1985. I would consider Cutie Honey (1973) a huge missing link in this as it's influence can not be understated after you see it.
