Looks pretty good
My foam took the impression of the sheath I made. Is it possible to remove this impression?
Harbor freight breman quick grip clamps for the win when doing this.
rivet tool is high quality u got a bad one or something the other ones are $10 and sucksloos like it worked to me
Awesome video
If you do not glue the foam in the press, you will be able to flip it over to increase the like of the foam. Now to change foam you will need to scrap off all the residue of that foam to replace it. Or build a new press.
Puoi darmi le misure interne? Grazie.
where i can find the E.V.A or neoprene for kydex?
I bought mine on amazon.
Is it both the same materials?
That's one good looking design - more than strong enough for 20 ton. In part 2 it sure did a jog of pressing. I've watched part 1 and part 2 both. It seems I missed the specs on motor hp, pump GPM, size of cylinder - all the good stuff.
I might not have included much technical stuff. It's a 2 stage pump 13 gpm. The motor was 7.5 hp and the cylinder was a 5 inch bore with a 10 inch stroke and a 2 inch rod.
I'm actually more impressed with your DIY CNC plasma cutter. Still not understanding why you just didn't program the hole positions into the CNC though instead of drilling them. But still that setup is bomb 💣
We'll that's because I have no clue what I'm doing. I wanted those holes to be pretty precise and worried about the piece being work hardened from plasma cutting and becoming difficult to drill if I needed to. After using the plasma cutter for a bit, I would definitely be more comfortable programming the holes at this point.
Haha haha the comedy keeps coming!!!!!
Dang it I thought they are prybar sorry thanks your the best
Amazing!!! I'll have to check my local goodwill for one of those big squisher thingy.
Life changing. I’ve always wondered how those blades were grown.
If you enjoyed that you should check out how chicken nuggets are made.
should have made the hitting area a little higher up, like above waist level.. maybe chest level, so you dont have to bend over to see it in action
I agree as soon as I finished it I started designing version 2. Hopefully I'll get to build it too.
Congrats to the winner!
It turned out awesome! Congrats to the winner!!
One of my favorites for sure. Congrats Austin it’s a one of a kind.
Awesome looking knife! Congrats Austin! Thank you for being so generous with this giveaway!
Congratulations to the winner! Thanks for the opportunity! Look forward to seeing more stuff from your shop!
120 layers
Yiur right that tool is junk. Send that crap back..
That is an awesome looking knife! Such skill!
I would love to win that knife. Your knives are beautiful! I'm guessing 73 layers. Will you make a kydex holster for it too? Edit: I almost forgot, the purple heart wood would look fantastic!
I didn't plan on making a kydex sheath for it. Good luck in the giveaway!
what size hinge did you use?
It was just a door hinge. Nothing special not sure on the exact size sorry.
Have you ever done some like this with a larger knife like a Cold Steel Espada XL? (7.5 inch blade folding knife)
Would you consider making a full tang throwing knife at some point in the future?
Absolutely I think throwing knifes would be a fun project.
I’m guessing maybe 72? and the Purple Heart would look awesome with it!
Man I’m going with 127. Awesome of you and thanks
Looking good bro
Looks wonderful man! Great job
64 layers.
Wow amazing looking
A nice knife. Congratulations here from Brazil.
Thank you
Nice job doing the same soon

Thank you!
Awesome Giveaway
promosm
I'd sayw 4 or 5 foldings, which would be either 64 or 128 layers... I'd go for etiher the bubinga or the purple heart for the handle (altough a heavierand darker wood as rosewood or ebony, would look great with that blade IMHO... Good luck, everyone. Cheers!
55 layers and orange and black handle
192 layers and the second natural wood looks nice
Good times in the shop!! It’s going to be a a pretty sweet kitchen tool!! 72 layers!!! G10 for first choice of handle haha then orange and black.
Cool project!!!
Good times 🎉🎉!!!
Good times in the shop!!!
I think its 470 layers, and I really like the first and second wood options!
256 layers! Can't wait to see the final product. Honestly any of those handles would look great with ladder pattern Damascus
I think its 90 layers, really love the second wood block color! Thanks for the opportunity!
