@@jeffersondelira2706 It's still new and breaking it in. But the SQ of it is incredible. To go from low tuned songs to old skool dance hall music with no adjustments is impressive. Can't wait till it's properly burped and final tuned. That X 18 sounds like an interesting setup.

This was the level 4 15s brand new. Just breaking them out. It moves more now with the XL 15's.

I had this on 5000rms. It did not last me a year I tried a low bass box first round 30hz. It sounded great. Then the surround totally gave up very easily. Then I reconed it. Tried a 40hz box lasted a little longer but then it gave up again. Modified it with some softer parts then it worked and sounded better. But then my DC Audio subs arrived. Then I just left it at the repair shop for the repair guy to sell it. 😂

@@kylenoray2823 OH it's awesome for spl. Its a monster for that. With all the different power we put on it. We never changed the coil tho. The motor, spiders, coil and Cone are excellent. The suspension... No. It's really stiff and it breaks on the ares attached to the Cone. This is my experience with it.

2 Powerbass 1600.2 for mids there's 2 more boxes with 10's total . And 1 Powerbass 2000.4 on 6 drivers. This is just part 9f a larger system. This is the daily driver.

They are M1 dust caps. The original dust caps.

Well my friend. I don't know if dc audio even makes these anymore. This was the pioneering stuff of dc audio. These were Level 3 M1 Series. This was a while back. They got a lot more heavy hitters than these. Even tho these built me a reputation. It's easy if you wanna bang harder then this. Just go with 2 level 4 M2 12s on a 5k and you'll be way up more than this.

I'm currently using 2 xl 15's M2 series. Those are cost conservative but insane.

@@pyromac8414 Well I not biased nor loyal to any brand what works will be used. The only advice I can give you is go to some shows and just get some demos so you will have a wider range of ideas and options and find your own quality of sound. It's what I did and I got one of the cleanest sounding system out there to me because it sounds exactly how I want it to sound. So have some patience do more research and then post a vid of your amazing build.

I ran up to 1000 watts clean power with no damage for 3 years. Sold it later on. Still working. One of the best subs I ever came across as long as you don't abuse it.

This was powered by a power acoustic 5500 Gothic series. @13.8 volts.

@@hellraiserharry don't get me wrong. They sound really good. It's a good sounding sub. It just can't keep it together on the real lows on full power. It's a good sub still. Even though I had to rebuild it twice. 😂

Well I had it rebuilt twice since this vid. So no. The coil takes the power no problem but the soft parts failed. On the highs it's a beast, on the lows.... naw! I'm gonna modify it to play lows. Look out for that vid.

Robert Woodard thanks all the builds my nephew does are super clean. Always clear crisp sound he a master at tuning. He really knows how to put systems together and no adjustments after he tunes you'll be able to play all types of genres, it just bass knob and play so you really get to have fun with it. . He's done all my upgrades. The box was originally for 2 DC Level 3 12"s he said the specs are close enough that it won't hurt the sub so he used it in this trunk as a normal ported box but then he seal up the trunk with fiber glass and made the back seat a solid wall with a port so it act as a 6th order. So it's like 2 tunings for one box. The ported box tho is 4.8 cubic. Tuned to 32hz drop off point is about 29hz. It plays everything. Thank for the review man. Really appreciate it.

Name I used a gopro hero 4. Left it on 30fps. It's one of the only cameras I noticed does not get audio distortion from loudness. Did pretty good.

What you go with?

I just purchased 2 level 4 12s running at 2 ohm and the new Crescendo C3000.2 (over 3k rms at 2 ohms bridged)

ryan dyson my installer did his own calculations for this one, his specs never fails. It's a 4.85 cubic. Tuned 32hz. Sounds amazing all tones and actually did 150.2 in iasca finals in Trinidad. Think it was 2012.

Well obviously you can hear the difference between high bass and low bass. I prefer low tuning because I personally find it sounds better and it travels very far alot easier. Lows ftw.

Scob By Hey bro well @12.6V we were cranking out about 1500rms... For music, it was perfect for the xtr pro subs. Played them very well for a long time sold the system as is and still working to this day and this was years ago.

Michael King 2 powerbass xma 1600 watts. One for midrange one for mid bass. 1 taramps HD 5000 for bass. Will change out the bass Amp for a Korean board Amp soon.

Michael King these worked great for this system. The newer models of the same work even better in the new systems. Clean power. No big tuning issues.

Michael King the 2400.4 The 6000.1 was way overrated but it pushed these orion pretty good as you can see. And they're not power hungry. We partied all day and night with this...
