The creepy thing in the movie for me is seeing a SuperBowl 1988 poster hanging up in Robbie and Carol Annes bedroom above Robbies Bed..u can see the poster hanging up during the thunder storm..if u take note oddly enough and strangely enough That SuperBowl 1988 poster forshadows and fortells the exact date of Heather o Rourke s untimely death on SuperBowl Sunday Feb 1rst 1988 during the wrapping up filming of Poltergeist 3 the final movie within the Poltergeist movie trilogy story.

This unit will work better with incandescent bulbs, I have one and think it says incandescent bulbs only, don’t know what the 2.0 one is I have the original one. But the affect would be better not using led lights

Do you still have this by chance? The mechanical part towards the top on mine came apart. The little foam piece that's glued came unglued and I'm not sure if there's a part missing. The unit is great - a little disconcerting was the CD - I went to rip it so I could play from my music files and the Title that came up was Qu'ran by Abd Al-Hamid Kishk?!? That's a little weird, I'm afraid to play it now 😞

A couple of errors made here - DON'T use LED based lights! The beauty of the Morris unit (over just a cheap strobe light) is that it adjust the intensity of the AC power going out to the light source to the intensity of the sound. The LED is only "on/off", so no realistic lightning action. If you use a couple of 90-150watt halogen flood lights, then the effect is AMAZINGLY real, with distant softer thunder pulsing dimly, then the big crashes hitting full on, crashing, then pulsing and diminishing, just like real thunder. SO MUCH better than just the 100% on/off LED light. Secondly, if possible use the 3.5mm mono input directly from your sound source. You can buy a cheap adapter or Y cable off your DVD player output or aux out of your receiver (RCA plug) to the 3.5mm input on the Morris unit. This gives much more subtlety and variation to the strobing, pulsing lights and also blocks out other ambient noises. You will be SHOCKED at the difference a well set up system looks like than the result you got here. Just trying to help you and others get the most out of your equipment!

Incandescent or halogen bulbs work better. They fade in and out with the fading lightning sound.
