Absolutely one of the best series I ever watched. So glad I found it again… FYI.. it’s now in syndication on a channel called “Charge” on every weekdays. This is one of those series that actually GOT ME it had an absolutely fantastic script, fantastic acting and casting was spot on!! I believe with the same writer’s and same cast, it’d be still relevant today. My opinion of course 😊

The stethoscope that Carter takes out of Mark Greene's locker and switches with his own is the wrong model. Mark Greene used a cardiology stethoscope either a Littman Cardiology or an ADC 601. Carter used a Sprague-Rappaport, which is what he removed from Mark's locker.

I always loved Carter the most, and I thought the same - it's Carter's story; It's the story of how he went from an inexperienced, very naive newbie to a mature, amazing doctor in his own right, never losing his charm, heart, and empathy during the journey. It is also an important story about a very privileged man (since Carter was so rich) who decided to go against his family's wishes and dedicate himself to public, social service and give his money to others in need (I loved the ending when Carter creates his foundation). And he did all that while getting through very hard times, personal tragedies, and discoveries. It's an amazing, rich, beautiful story and for me honestly the greatest core storyline of any med tv show ever. It started as a med show with an ensemble cast, where Clooney and Edwards' characters were kinda the focus but it all changed quickly because Noah as Carter had such charm, talent & sophistication, the writers and people just fell in love with him. Not to mention, Carter and Benton's relationship got way more complex, meaningful& essential for the show than Doug& Mark's, to put it simply, it became the most important and beautiful relationship on the show. It of course helped that Benton was a great character as well. Noah& Eriq were both brilliant actors and had great chemistry together.
