Last summer I inadvertently over-watered my St Augustine grass and my beautiful, but spotty lawn, developed what I deem to be brown patch. I treated it first with a chemical spray fungicide but have failed to do more than that. At 75, I just don't get around to do everything I should do in my yard. Question for now: I see that your MicroLife Brown Patch is for fall application. So in East Texas now it's mid-February, weather is starting to warm up and is it too late to apply the Brown Patch? Thanks for your response and this great video!! Judy Read

Being early spring you would apply microlife humates and microlife hybrid which is formulated for lawns. You can apply both again as your summer application and then do the brown patch as your fall application. Do what you can… something is better than nothing.

@@plantsforallseasons4852 Okay so I didn't get around to any of what you suggested..medical problems. Now it's early May and humidity and heat are ramping up. Soon to be in 90's..ugh! St. Augustine grass in half of my front yard looks good. The other half... scant grass is poking it's head up through the thick weeds. I have mostly clay soil so I'm thinking about applying the Happy Frog Soil Conditioner first thing. After that, what would you suggest I apply to lawn at this point in treating brown patch/revitalizing the scant grass? And I'm not really sure brown patch is the problem now as the other half of the yard's grass is looking really well after being set back by brown patch. I did initially treat the brown patch with a fungicidal spray (from Home Depot or Lowe's) so I'm guessing it helped. Thank you so much for any info/help you can provide. I really want to go organic and have ordered & received the MicroLife Brown Patch & the MicroGro granular. Love your video!

Excellent video ... also good for ventilated crawl spaces. Other advantages you need to mention are: Kills OR Prevents ... mold/mildew/wood fungus/termites/carpenter ants (other insects as well I'm sure). Great for Florida homes. Cost to hire ... about $0.80 per square foot (under a home). 1-2 gallons needed for 1,600 square foot home (with 250 square feet on solid foundation; 1,350 sq ft). Premixed is about $89 per gallon. (Or, better yet ... might be concentrate?) Sprayer $79. Thus ~$250 to DIY. Quote given was $1,200. Total was above their $0.80 per square foot explanation. (1600 -250) x (0.80) = (1350) x ($.80) = $1,080. And, instructed don't do the math ... already done for me. LOL ... (An extra $120.00 ... tip?) Pest control already has the sprayers ... thus, product (and time) was a 600% mark up. But, thanks for the idea ... mold & pests are not currently a problem ... but, am interested in preventive care ... home is 64 years old. Status post shower (pipe) leak behind that thick concrete like material (L?) straight into open/exposed crawl space. Yikes! Wondering if mold remediation companies can provide a much BETTER quote?! At least add correctly. Something closer to $0.50 per square foot. I can reach 75% of the area with ease... including all bathrooms & kitchen areas. Someone might want to check on vent areas for customers in crawl spaces. May also be prone to moisture or sweating ... may destroy wood if not properly installed to PREVENT future damage ... mildew ... and pests. Sounds like a great product all the way around. My uuderstanding is much older homes and some newer homes were sprayed with borate (bora care) DURING the actual construction phase. And, or older homes (circa 1960 and before) used better quality wood materials to prevent such issues. Pretty amazing ... boards in a crawl space can look brand new, withstand seasonal hurricanes AND without encapsulation. Good ventilation (built that way) all the way around has worked fine for 65 years. HVAC may or may not have a dehumidifier. Appears to? Good idea in Florida (and snow bound areas). Snow melts. Thanks for sharing this knowledge.

Hi there. I love your videos. I live in south florida and my brand new sod is getting decimated by webworms. I first applied permethrin which did nothing. I just applied Caravan G, which is a insecticide/fungicide granular formula. Hopefully it will solve the problem. I intend to apply the microlife humates plus, but I cannot finmd the foxfarm comeback formula for sale anywhere. Is there some other product you would recommend instead?
