To be fair, I don’t think many artists do a music video thinking they would blow up from it. It’s a creative art form that helps contextualize the music in a better way. It’s not entirely fair to look at music videos for a return on investment. I know the music business is just that, a business, but we also have to keep in mind that our creative passions and project should never die because of a bottom dollar. This isn’t targeted at the creator! Just to any reading this that need to hear it 🖤
