Hello👋🏽well the only qualifications I had was an early childhood education associates degree with some prior experience. It all depends on where you apply to, some schools will give you a chance with little to no qualifications but some are strict and require a higher education✨

That sounds fun! I would love to do stuff like that but unfortunately the school I work for wouldn’t allow me:(

Yess I will definitely take this into consideration. I know a lot of people have questions regarding this process. As for me it was pretty easy becoming a teacher because this offer was made in regard to a teacher quitting her job just hours before the school year started so they asked me. Heyy👋🏽 first thank you so much for watching! I totally understand lol I was in the same situation when I first started, very shy and awkward. Didn’t know what to do or what to expect since this was my first job under my major. From experience working in customer service (before my teaching job) helped me so much with getting used to communicating with individuals. I prayed long and hard to overcome my fear of interaction. As I continued to work everyday meet some very cool people, it helped a lot. Every new job is nerve racking at first but I promise it gets better. For your interviews try to search as many UA-cam videos that pertain to what your interview is about. Search up interview questions online and get a feel on what they may ask. Hii ✨ In this video I was a teacher assistant for headstart. It was really nice. I was responsible for helping the lead teacher. That pretty much varied based on what the teacher wanted or needed. Sometimes I would sub for other classrooms as well…

Thank you ☺️ & first (if you don’t mind answering) what is your career path that you desire? Being a teacher assistant for a few months helped me a lot with the career path I worked toward and currently working towards but in my opinion it just depends on what you are aiming for.

I am starting my career here in UK as a teaching assistant but I believe to become a permanent teacher assistant I have to work for 6 month to 1 year then only i can apply as permanent teacher..correct me if I am wrong.

@@sdm604 Ohh I see, I’m in the U.S. and of course every state here has different qualifications to become a teacher or teacher assistant so it do depends. For me, I started off as a teacher assistant. I didn’t have to go through a long process or a certain amount of months to become permanent. I got the position with some working experience and a associates degree. I’m currently a teacher right now and do not have any certifications, just an associate degree and a in progress bachelor’s degree. I didn’t apply to become a teacher, the position was kinda handed to me so I’m not too sure of the process of applying and becoming a teacher. Hopefully that helps, I’m always here to answer any questions to the best of my ability✨ and congratulations on this journey, you definitely got this!

Aw that’s great and I’m so happy for you. I was in the same situation when they switched my position from an assistant to a teacher. Initially a bachelors degree (which I’m currently working on) is needed but with the lack of staff members they let me in on the position. I hope you enjoy your experience as an assistant teacher and many blessings to you! I understand your nervousness, it’s intimidating at times but it gets easier over time with experience. Hi!! Of course. ✨ So there is rules on the placement of different signs on the wall such as it can only be placed on the bulletin board part on the all and not directly the wall part itself because apparently it’s hazardous. As far as how it’s situated, that’s up to you, you can put shapes and colors in one area or numbers and ABC’s in a different area etc but everything has to be on a bulletin board. I’m pretty sure every program is a bit different when it comes to placement but that’s how my company does things. Also, yes there’s different transition times for certain activities/ subjects. No problem, I don’t mind at all. Severely underpaid for a teacher position? I can say a bit especially for the duties that are required. Every company is different so I’m not sure the difference between everyone’s pay and what I’m receiving right now. But I can say the company I work under offers wage increases every time you further your education, not sure how much it goes up after a certain certification though. So for me to be on just a associate degree level with a in progress bachelor’s degree hopefully it goes up soon. I’m still learning money management myself but so far I been learning to save a certain percentage of my check each time, setting aside money for responsibilities and using my spending money wisely :)✨ I hope that helped 😅
