Mt. SAC Relays 2024 - Sadie & Ventura Cougars BREAK NATIONAL RECORD
It was a loaded field of the most badass DMR teams in the country at this year's Mt. SAC Relays! All squads brought their hometown heroes to race in a stacked field of 20 teams, among them the Ventura Cougars with high school superstar Sadie Engelhardt, and the Santiago Sharks with champions Rylee Blade and Braelyn Combe.
Varsity Punks was there to accompany the Bay School of San Francisco as they competed in a race that would go down in the history books of high school track and field.

@@VarsityPunks thanks for the answer. What threw me off was the stabilization which I thought was the iPhone. Otherwise the footage is beautiful. I have applied for a media pass this year also. I will put up 6 or 7 Sony alpha cameras. May be we can collaborate?

Riley blade failed the team😭
she got her revenge at Woodbridge Cross Country 24, national record high school 3 mile with Sadie in the event. Sadie is dominate at middle distances. Blade is better at longer distances (lately).
@@Vadeemersand then Sadie destroyed the Clovis invite and broke the record
@sophiyaur and then there was NXN. Neither of them did particularly well but that race tries to have poor conditions which leads to more upsets and balanced running but that didn't stop Jane Hendegren from breaking Tuohy's record. Jane was also at Woodbridge.
It's sad how terrible 90% of the handoffs are. It's not very difficult to have a good handoff, just watch Sadie.

I have to say I look completely idiotic riding that bike! But the images with the rising sun on the runners are beyond reproach. I'll be back for 2024 and this time I'll be doing all the races. hdrunner thought that their golf cart would be smoother than my bike but it was so painful riding in that bucking horse that they stopped filming after 2 races. The camera operator was injured.

I Love Cheerleading man cheerleading is the best sport because you get it be flexible I hate soccer I don't like it at all
At the beginning of the show when the kids were picking teams the coach watch one of the kids bully another child,, This is why bullying goes on in schools because adults watch it and do nothing about it. Then he chastised the kid that was being bullied and made her run laps Unbelievable. As I continue watching the show,, I thought they should change the name of the show and call it how to be bully young and old. The kids are being bullied and adults are being bullied.. I give this show one star. I really don't want to give it that
You should watch the rest of the movie... because you're actually spot on with what you saw in the opening scene! Lots of bullying going on. This story deals with a kid (Rosendo "Rosie") who must deal with bullying growing up, and here we expose how the worst part of it are the adults who instigate and encourage such bahavior. He then goes on to high school discovering his running talent and finally finding a place of belonging with his XC team, only to then have threatened when the football star injurs himself and wants to across over to Rosie's team. It's quite a predicament that deals with social injustice within the high school hierarchy while exploring redemption through team sports.
@@VarsityPunks You're absolutely right once I seen the whole movie it came out to be pretty good But I still didn't like the beginning, I give it a four-star but you know in a lot of these schools the teachers do witness bullying and do nothing about it, that needs to change maybe they afraid of the repercussions I don't know.. I'm a Black American, it was good to see the school was solely Mexican population doing positive things,, As minorities we need more representation like this movie that show that we're not just gang Banger and we take our Education very Seriously. 👍✌

In all fairness, the soccer player was wearing cleats which is an advantage. All sports are difficult depending on how good and how seriously an individual takes their activity. There are many Cheerleaders out there that can play other "Sports".

Tbh I’m not a track runner but I smoke my whole jv team and many of the varsity players and I’m 13 and I could smoke both the middle school and high school cheerleading teams (middle school doesn’t have a soccer team so I made the high school)

I hate cheerleading ther uniform with the mini skirt I can't wear that it's to uncofertable shorts and a t-shirt is what i rather wear soccer in my opinion is much better sport than cheerleading
