When I first met him in Malacanang after he won as president, I was star struck by his smiling eyes. Since then I started following him on every newspaper, Tv etc but stopped and just stayed with channel 4 where I first saw Corina Sanchez before her very deadly accident. When FFEM travelled to US for his memorable speech there, Tina Munzon Palma (sorry if spelled wrong) was the one I saw reporting about the happenings there. When I saw and watched him speaking, I was praying he won’t make mistakes. Duh! I forgot how very eloquent and most importantly very captivating he was whenever he made speeches particularly in Quirino grandstand. Most of them are long but I never realized the time that passed. There were words that I still remember. - that it helped to make jokes to laugh about yourself. - yung kung anong tanong yun lang ang sagot. - and that less talk less mistakes. - discipline is important in our lives. - kung mag speech sya he started in English then transitioned in Tagalog or sometimes adds some ilocano then back to English. - he made his speeches very interesting, engaging with jokes. He’s a very very fascinating man, our FFEM. He truly cares for our country and the Pilipinos to be united as one. Both integrated as one. He made us believe that Pilipinos are great people and have high hopes we have a great nation. Kaya he made sure our country’s boundaries are defined based on facts because he knows china can’t be trusted. But he missed to see that US will betrayal him because they were afraid we will become stronger than we already are. WE MUST BEAR IN MIND WE ARE PILIPINOS, INTELLIGENT, RESOURCEFUL, FIGHTER,SURVIVOR… We may have our differences but we gather as one to help because we never forget, BALIKATAN, BAYANIHAN. 👍🏼✌🏼🇵🇭🙏🏼

Sir Lazo you failed to say it is both beneficial as well as dangerous. Why? Dangerous because FEM knows how to use words to play with the emotions of his listeners yet at the same time beneficial because he was there not just to speak and show off his oratorical skills and intelligence in English speaking. HE WAS THERE BECAUSE HE NEEDED SOMETHING FROM US who did not help us the way they helped Japan recover while we suffered so much from WW2 Be fair sir. At a young age I followed all news about him, good or bad. I’m not blind to his personal mistakes but what I really cared about was his projects. That’s why I was sooo happy when the north expressway was finished because that means shorter time going to my grandma in Pangasinan and also we will not need to pushed our car when stuck on the muddy dirt road since vacation was during start of rainy season. After he was whisked out of our country, we started to experience the deterioration in our country except faster that time which started when Ninoy was murdered and FFEM was not stupid to do that. With 2 aquinos as president both were not even Interested to investigate thoroughly. Again, don’t apologized because we know better and more than what they know and what they just want to know. The late PFEM was a brilliant orator in my own analyses, because he can always get the attentions of his audience by making it funny sometimes with irony. He stayed close with the topic at hand as well as the purposed and the deliveration of his speech…good memory he had.💥👈🙏

We agree. He was forced to shorten his speech by the US congress. He rose to the challenge and delivered superb content in less than 3 minutes.

as a person coming from the younger generation where former President Marcos Sr who I was not able to experience, coming from my elders who have been during his presidency, said that you cant go with your own non law abiding person, otherwise, u will really pay for your wrong deeds...

Thank you for the feedback. We like to think that when we do an episode and analyze a speech or speaker, we do so from the perspective of seasoned speech coaches. We do our best to leave politics out of the picture and focus on the techniques and style that made our subject speakers great. We understand some may not be pleased with our work. But if political commentary is the goal, there so many other channels that will satisfy that. We seek to uncover technique and style. We do our best to achieve a balanced review.

We appreciate all comments. As an educational channel, we demur from political opinions as much as we can. There are other channels that do that better.

Red are really scary, look what Putin did in Ukraine and others, and Jin Ping did in West Philippine Sea, Kim etc...leaders without liabilities, technically lawless leaders whose only respect is strength and Arms.
