Another tip to refine your mobility. Train this succession of moves: Bullet jump -> DoubleJump -> Roll(Tap Sprint). With the right timing it's the fastest movement you can get out of your warframe.

And always practice your mr first

Notes again (see you on stream soon!!) -I personally disagree that it’s not worth getting Prime frames/weapons, since they tend to look cooler and you can grind for them from relics instead of spending real money, but that’s a matter of opinion. There is so dang much stuff to do in this game that if Prime-hunting isn’t your cup of tea, you can easily skip it. -Congrats on the kubrow egg! I still have no idea why picking it up didn’t work last time - maybe it wasn’t an egg but an egg-looking ammo pickup or something???

What the heck?? I have no idea why you couldn't pick up that egg - the wiki says nothing about kubrow eggs being locked behind anything, MR or the quest or otherwise. I'm not sure if that was a bug or an undocumented condition on picking up eggs or what??? (P.S. The wiki is awesome, but I'd advise against doing too much with it for now. Spoilers abound, especially one big spoiler that people don't tend to mark anymore because it came out in like 2015)

Just a couple smol tips today -You can remove mods from your build freely by right-clicking them or dragging them back to the "storage" area on the bottom. (In general, this game will warn you if you're about to do something you can't undo; modding is not one of those things lol) -Congrats on making MR 1!! That slate thing you got in the inbox message is a decoration you can put in your orbiter. -You can press R (anytime) or X (when you're not near a context-action thingy) to reload your gun even if it isn't fully out of magazine. -If you let an excavator get destroyed before it's done excavating, the only loot you'll get out of it is a resource called cryotic - you probably saw the "[X] CRYOTIC EXCAVATED" tooltips at the top of your screen a couple times. If you get an excavator all the way to completion, you'll get the full 100 cryotic and something else (relic, mod, credit cache, something like that) as well. I personally don't like to have more than 2 excavators going at once, possibly only one if I'm alone like you were, just because it's easier to protect them that way.

Slightly less late but still late oof -For your swords, where you’ve got more than enough spare capacity, consider ranking up some of those mods when you’ve got the Endo for it! I especially recommend Pressure Point for damage, Fury for attack speed, and Organ Shatter and True Steel for crit (especially on the Dex Nikana, where the starting crit stats are relatively high anyhow). -If you do that Mastery Rank test, one of the nicest bonuses is that your unranked equipment will start with 1 capacity instead of 0. And then 2, then 3, etc. as you gain more MRs! -Make sure you go back and take your Braton (the assault rifle) all the way to rank 30 at some point. That way you get all the mastery you can out of it, even if you end up getting rid of it later. -Bullet jumping is great lol -Unfortunately I can’t tell you much about building a K-Drive, since I am such absolute garbage at K-Driving that I haven’t been able to get enough Ventkids standing for it. The Ventkids are very cool though!

Late again, sorry -The art of making your Warframe(s) look good is called “fashionframe” by the WF community. It’s wonderful fun, you should definitely try it sometime! -Yes, the coolant tower “failure” is scripted. That had nothing to do with how fast you were going -Credits are the ordinary currency; you can get them in quantity from normal missions, to the point where it’s unusual to see a mission give you less than 1-2k. Platinum is the premium currency; you get it by spending real money or trading for it with other players. Endo is a “currency” used specifically for ranking up mods; you also get it from normal gameplay, though not as much as credits. There’s a fourth big “currency” called syndicate standing, but you haven’t really encountered that yet. -When do you stream Warframe on Twitch? Idk if time zones would work out, but I’d love to catch a stream sometime!

Hire a few spies within your court and make sure your spymaster likes you allot. It helps against murder schemes. Hope the Pox don’t take the kids Suggestion: I would scheme to murder your Liege to get rid of his alliances. So far, so good 👍🏾

More tips and tricks (although your Twitch chat had some of them handled!) -The flying camera drone thingies you sometimes find in spy vaults (like the one you encountered on your second attempt) will sound the alarm if you shoot them without killing them. This is where weapons like bows and sniper rifles come in handy - anything with enough damage to one-shot a drone, basically -If you trigger alarms in a spy vault, that’s the time to ditch stealth completely and go for speed instead. Your biggest obstacle is now the time limit…as I think you discovered for yourself, oof -Bugged-out blue waypoint again (those are for NPCs that will show up after you’re done with the quest) -Big +1 to the other people telling you to do that Mastery Rank test, and to whoever mentioned that you can rotate tiles on Corpus hacking consoles in either direction by using left vs. right click!

Sorry I’m late on the draw! Had a really busy couple days -The song in the Fortuna opening cinematic is called We All Lift Together, and it is SO AWESOME. (Keep an ear out - it’s not the only awesome song in this game!) -You are correct, you can’t swim in coolant any more than you can swim in regular water, unfortunately. -Good idea with the scanner-hunting for caches, that’s never occurred to me and I’ve been playing for 5+ years! I usually hunt by sound - caches make a distinctive pinging sound when you’re nearby that can help locate them even if you can’t see them yet. -Despite what I said last time…it might be good to rank up the mods on your Braton a little. My suggestions are Serration (more base damage) and Fast Hands (faster reload) if you’ve got those. You could also use Cryo Rounds, Hellfire, Infected Clip, and/or Stormbringer if you want to try out elemental damage, although they’re pretty capacity-heavy; I’d recommend Stormbringer to start with, since electricity is great against the Corpus. -You can do similar things with your Dex Nikana too! Try out Pressure Point (base damage), Reach (range), Fury (attack speed), True Steel (critical chance), and/or Organ Shatter (critical damage) and see what you like best. -The disappearing dark blue waypoints were a bug, I think. They weren’t supposed to be there during the quest. As they say, Warframe is a Bug-Free Game(tm) -Yep, the Solaris are cyborgs! “Human” is…a weird category in the WF universe, who is or isn’t human kinda depends on who you ask, but Solaris are basically part human and part robot (although they aren’t born that way; you can find Solaris kids with no robotic parts at all). -Random tip that doesn’t really have to do with anything in the video: next time you’re in your arsenal, check out the Appearance menus for your Warframe and weapons! (Should be located right underneath Swap and Upgrade when you mouse over them.) While cosmetics can be costly, you can still get them without paying any real money for platinum by trading stuff with other players, and there are some that come from normal gameplay (notably Nightwave) or get given out for free at certain times of year. Have fun making your Tenno look cool lol

Tips/notes part 5! -The flower was, apparently, a gift that Konzu gave Saya some years ago (probably when the love triangle was a thing and both Konzu and Onkko were courting her). She rejected Konzu’s romantic advances, but kept the flower as a nice gift and token of friendship? I think?? Idk how Onkko got ahold of it -You can also fuse mods directly from the mod console (first one on the left after you come down the ramp from the cockpit) instead of going through the arsenal. You’re going to want to do that a LOT as the game goes on, although not quite yet - mod capacity on your equipment is a major limiting factor at this point. -I’d recommend building that Taxon blueprint you got from the Venus junction ASAP! Taxon is a Sentinel, basically a little robot companion that floats behind you and shoots stuff, and sometimes gives other buffs too. They’re really helpful, especially this early - Taxon’s gun doesn’t do much damage, but it does enough to deal with level 1-5 enemies like you’ve been fighting thus far. -In Exterminate missions, the red waypoint shows you where the nearest enemy is if it isn’t on screen. -The little scannable pickup with a white waypoint was an Ayatan Star. They’re kinda inconsequential, tbh, just good for trading to this one NPC for Endo or making your orbiter look pretty. I have no idea why they get their own waypoints. -Press F to swap from codex scanner back to primary weapon, or to swap between primary and secondary if you’ve got a secondary. (This also works to swap off of other non-gun gear items that use gun keybinds, such as that mining laser I mentioned last video.) -That chain of yellow explosions was a Blitz Eximus’ special attack. -I know somebody else also mentioned this, but you can aim-glide (hold right click) to get across large gaps. (Even with a scanner!) -Going out of your way to loot everything is probably unnecessary, but again, it’s more worth it now than it will be later, and to each their own playstyle. You just got to a new planet; you may be glad you took the time to bust all those crates if a foundry build requires resources you can’t find on Earth. As for grinding on vs. off camera, that’s up to you, but I don’t mind if you decide not to film absolutely every minute of gameplay.

In case you didn’t, have your stepmother matrimonial married so she can birth more physical strong children for your courtiers. I would also advise to focus on becoming a Duke once you come of age.

Tips/notes part 4: -Re: builds, my biggest tip is to tailor them to the weapon’s inherent strengths and weaknesses. Which of its secondary stats (crit chance, status chance, etc.) are best? What annoys you most about using the weapon - maybe it’s too slow, or the damage is lackluster, or reloading takes forever? Use whatever mods you’ve got to accentuate the good stuff and mitigate the bad; if you don’t have a mod to boost a given thing yet, you probably will soon. -The big tree-monster thing you saw was an Eidolon, specifically the Eidolon Teralyst. Konzu and the Lotus are right, you can’t fight it (yet), so it’s best to stay away. -The shinies in that cave are mine-able ore veins. You can buy a mining laser from one of the vendors in Cetus once you’ve done a few bounties for Konzu - in fact, I’d recommend doing that at some point soon. If I remember correctly, you’ll need some resources from mining if you want to build Gara. -That quest ending is confusing af to me too, lol. I think the message Onkko was trying to send is that Saya and Konzu should set aside their differences and be friends again, which they did, so…all’s well that ends well I guess??

Tips part 3! -Busting crates is more worth it now, as a super-new player, than it will be later when you already have a lot of resources. Up to you, though - if you’re having fun stealing everything that isn’t nailed down, by all means keep doing it for as long as you like, lol -You can avoid getting knocked back or set on fire by an Arson Eximus’ fire blast if you dodge-roll (tap Shift) right as its leading edge hits you -That glowy blue thing you scanned was called a Cephalon Fragment. They’re a lore thing, so you can freely ignore them if you don’t care about lore, but I would keep scanning them if/when you find them. That there is one DEEP rabbit hole, that I will not say anything else about because spoilers -Did you see the messages in your HUD on returning to orbiter about “qualified for Mastery Rank 1 test”? Go do that when you get the chance! It’s pretty easy (the MR 1 test is about the same difficulty as your average Exterminate mission, iirc) and will “level up” your account permanently, allowing access to more stuff like weapon blueprints. If you do fail the test, don’t worry; you can try again tomorrow (and there will be a way to get unlimited practice attempts later on)

More notes and tips (1500+ hours in Warframe here, lol): -Yes, you did pronounce Cetus correctly (“see-tus”) -If you press and hold Q while you’re in your orbiter (not sure what the keybind is for controller, sorry), you’ll get a gear-wheel-esque options menu where you can essentially fast-travel to orbiter functions like navigation, arsenal, foundry, mod console, etc. -You can deactivate Exalted Blade by pressing 4 again while it’s active -The big blue orb things on the ground that you couldn’t pick up were energy orbs; you couldn’t pick them up because your energy was full at the time. (Energy is the cyan bar all the way in the bottom right, underneath the ammo counter and little ability menu. Useful thing to keep an eye on, especially if you’re using your abilities a lot!)

More tips: -AVOID SPOILERS like the plague. Especially at this stage of the game. You think the storyline’s cool now, just you wait ;) -The modding system is convoluted as heck and not very well explained in-game, but totally worth messing around with. Mod build can completely make or break a weapon’s effectiveness. That said, you’re probably better off just trying stuff on and seeing what you like than looking builds up online; those builds tend to require WAY more resources than you currently have, and everyone’s playstyle is different. -The question mark tab in the chat window is for asking/answering questions about the game. If you get really confused about something, try asking there and seeing if anyone can answer! -Consider joining a clan, or founding one yourself. That’ll give you access to TONS of stuff, including a boatload of weapons and even an entire other game mode -Platinum (the premium currency, which you get 50 of for free) is mostly used for cosmetics and instant access to stuff you don’t want to grind for. The only gameplay-necessary thing that requires it is inventory slots, which are relatively cheap. If you want more plat, you can buy it with real money or trade for it with other players
