Wasn't a change we made ourselves actually. Making the enrichment chamber requires steel so it's a catch 22. Need steel to make steel producer. Only way to get our hands on any kind of steel is with Create

@ Oh wait I'm dumb I said the wrong thing. The metallurgic infuser shouldn't require any steel and allows you to make steel.

@JFyre Th’Quake here. Almost unified changes the recipe to where it requires steel.

@co-opcomrades oh is that one of your guys special additions? My pack didn't require that, I was able to make the metallurgic infuser, coming in an episode I think next week or the week after.

It is required for our version of the modpack because it is the one mod that fixes a bunch of conflicts with recipes and materials. If I didn’t include it we wouldn’t have half the mods I added in like ars magica legacy and thermal. Also it is the main thing that is making almost everything go through the create mod.

nahhhh no need for that at alllll. tho it's really fun seeing you and miners' trying to outpace eachother. Me and Quake are still looking at the yogs and how far ahead they are. Thought for sure the ski lodge would slow them down a lot but nope they knocked it out in two hour+ long episodes

@co-opcomrades yeah the ski lodge has been done since December, we've been on backlog since then at least. They're miles ahead, I honestly don't think I'll be able to beat them at least. I still don't have a factory, let alone a space center haha!

We technically don't either, just a workshop to start progressing in create so we CAN make a factory

@co-opcomrades haha yeah I definitely feel that! It seems you guys tend to just stop recording then start again when you're ready, do you use any editing software afterwords? That way you'd be able to tweak stuff as you like after the fact.

We had an editor for a while but they went on to someone who paid better. After that we realised we need to get to a point where the channel can at least afford to pay one on it's own before it'll be worth going for one. But yeah, we use OBS to record so we have a recording pause button

@co-opcomrades ahhh gotcha makes sense. Yeah over on my channel we do all the editing ourselves - episode one we used DaVinci Resolve but we switched software for ep 2.

Th'Quake here. yeah we did an episode on palworld cause our channel has been mainly built around it and we want to still provide content for our viewers who like our palworld content. We still plan on doing our best with the race. Soulfrno and i have weird schedules. i have my full time job so recording has been a tricky thing to keep up with but We do our best to make time for the channel as much as possible.

If you're fine with throwing hundreds of spheres at something, that level wonkiness could be pretty cool with something that removes the level linking on pals. Would remind of the olden days of pixelmon in minecraft, when all you needed to do to succeed was run head long into something you had no business picking a fight with an sniping it to no end with pokeballs.

Pretty neat. Though I think we'll only do that for something like a nuzlock. having all the pals in the right places helps for collecting all the new ones they add in updates

Soulfrno here! I am a dedicated hoarder of the keys. yes it wastes inv slots but if I have them anyways might as well use em right? Besides, feybreak added inventory extensions you can craft. Th'Quake saw lock picks and jumped on em right quick cuz he has bad luck with keys

Funny you should mention that. We actually had a lot of the books for those saved up from running dungeons. It pays to hoard!

Lacking lava makes that a bit tricky, plus a lot of the items to access the energy in it required steel in our pack. A handful of recipes were changed to more or less require getting pretty far into Create. We found out we were missing a mod we intended to add in the first place after recording and got it working so next episode will have the issue solved either way. Plus it gave me an excuse to start Pedestals so net positive

@@co-opcomrades Can't you use fuel + the slot for energy tablets for it?

The only heat generator we were able to make without steel was one without a UI, all the others required steel which we can only make via the create mod. We got the problem solved though, hope you enjoy seeing the struggle finally end in tomorrow's episode!

​@co-opcomrades I'm working solo and starting from scratch. So it's an uphill battle. Moved over to the jungle biome and started there instead. A little bit of light roleplay too, like what the Yogs are doing.

I might give it a look some time if I can spare a moment or two. You get the replica modpack? It's updating every time the person behind it spots mods in the series
