Hi All!!
Welcome to my channel, my name is Juan Busciglio and I am a photographer based in Laguna Beach California.
The story that started it all
I was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1978 and since I can remember I always loved drawing and painting. All my creations from young age (that I considered art at that time) had the best sunsets or sunrises with a wonderful scenery, and that’s what I strive to have you find in my photographs.
My passion for photography started long ago, in the year 1995 to be precise. My first camera was a plastic 35mm konika point-and-shoot that I found buried in the snow on my High School graduation trip to Bariloche (Argentina) in La Patagonia.
After shooting my first 35mm roll (36exp), I recall having to wait what felt like the longest hour of my life outside the lab to see the final results. Amazed by the fine art that I felt I just created (well… at least that’s what I thought at that time) I haven’t stopped following my passion since.

Thank you , great video.
This was very well put together! I can’t wait for your next episode!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for documenting this, it's inspiration and ideas because I have no idea what I'm doing taking on this project as a single mom of 3. Doesn't look like many have done this to g30s
Amazing photos!
Nice shots and video! Like those pink orange skies I'm thinking of buying this lens partly for seascapes too but I've read it's vigneting a lot at all apertures / focal ranges, does it bother you anyhow? I know it's easilly corrected post prod but I guess it can become a problem for night shots at higher isos (I still have an old Canon 6D hehe) Also did you ever had any problem with water / moisture with it dealing a lot with the sea yourself?
Thank you for your comment! Definitely you should buy this lens, it is amazing! In my case , it does nNOT create any vignetting and I use it often for my landscape photography as well as my wedding photography. So far, is one of the best lens I invested $$$ on. And I'm not getting paid or sponsored by Tamrom.
@@juanbusci Thanks for your answer. Yeah Tamron last generations lenses are pretty good honestly, I have their SP90mm f2,8 USD macro (F017) wich is amazing, being for portraits, any macro usages, product photography etc, sharp, great colours like this one it seems. And it seems the 17-35 can use the same Tamron tap in console to adjust both lenses so that's a bonus, and the price is good too. Since you had the lens for a while, any specific recommandation on what I should check in detail if buying it used? (it's hard to find new) The weather sealing gaskets still offer good protection after years of uses by the seacoast?
Real photographers don’t need gimmicks like focus stacking
Any video update from you...I was looking for your next toturials..
Mucho hablas wuerrmos el lente en acción.
How has the van been?
The van is great, a did a lot of additions and builds , I need to do an update video and show how it looks now. Check the van Instagram @roads2xplor
@@juanbusci Just followed you on IG the van looks dope.
hey, how are you? Have you thought about the Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8? I want to get a wide-angle lens and I have this tamron and the Nikon one on my mind. Why did you get the Tamron?
Hello Thiago, thank you for your comment. I did not try the Nikon 17-35mm, and I am sure it's a great lens. Now, in my opinion, if you have the money, by all means, get it. I trust Tamrom. They made good lenses and half the price. Bit once again, in my humble opinion, because they are more expensive, it doesn't mean you'll do better images... after all, the camera and lenses are just tools. I hope I did answer your question.
Great video, was thinking of doing this with my new F150’s bed and just was curious if a low CFM like 4CFM will work for the compressor or I would have to just cave in and just pay the LineX price
great video, do you think I can get it done with a 6 gallon compressor or I have to go for more ?
Hey, thank you for your comment. I'm sure you can, the only problem that you can find it is that your compressor will be running at all times, most likely... just set the right psi and you'll be fine. Mine itcis a 10 galons amd it did the job even that everyone was saying that I needed a 20 gal. The prep work it is the key, make sure you do it right. Good luck 👍
Damn an actually good photographer!
Very informative and straight to the point, liked and subscribed ✅
These are amazing!
Maaco told me $3000 for a single stage same color paint job with no bodywork. No thanks!!
Great video!! I have the same cargo van 1993 G2500 version
Very helpful video!! I have a 1993 that I am restoring
The natural light was already perfect - why use strobe?
Just found your channel! I like your attention to detail and how you simplify what you're doing. Working on a 95' G30 too!
Great to hear that! Welcome to the channel. I must make a video about how the van is right now.
great video
Thank you!
Hello I have a question, how did you get the background focus? I have the nikon D750 with the 50mm lens I was trying to take pictures of my son at a playground I wanted everything to show but I couldn't get the background focus it came out blur.
Hi Mariama, Thank you for your comment and question. Well all depend what for stop you used, to get everything in focus you need an f-stop of f8 or f11 in that case you might need to lower you Shutter speed, or if your subject is moving, might need to increase your iso. It's called depth of field. I hope that answer your question.
@@juanbusci thank you so much. This helps a lot!!
SAme here, waiting for the video on how you process your photos. They look awesome.
The video it's coming this weekend, stay tuned 😉
hope you can tell about portrait color grading in Lightroom and photoshop
Yes I will.
I would shoot into the ring light !😮
The video was great. The music could go though. I'd rather hear you talking.

Awesome, thank you! The editing video is coming soon, stay tuned.
@@juanbusci thank you sir 👍
I looked at some of her back drops for the westscott and it describes the pockets so it can be hung. Did you add this rings on to it to attach it to the 5x7 ?
Yes I did add the rings, but when I fist got it I was using small clamps and putting the backdrop against the Westcott black drop. My backdrop is the Old master abstract from Kate backgrounds ($40+ $8 for the rings,, compared to $200 for the other manufacturers) What I did was, I used my westscott backdrop put the Kate's on top, stretched very well and marked the holes. I hope this answer your question and help you somehow. 🙏
@@juanbusci man means a lot to hear from you. Thanx for the name as well. I have the 5x7 but I want there new 8x8 so when if I shoot more than 2 people or bigger couples I can pose them differently
@@TheBurtonsAreHere yes! definitely the 8x8 is a must have when you photograph larger groups, I'm considering ordering the 8x8 as well. Very convenient for corporate headshots or school events
Great Contant!!
Thank you!
I know you mentioned it in the video but what background system are you using I’m a little confused because you say you use Kate backdrops but it looks like you have a x drop set up can you clear that up for me thank you.
@@MrMikeCanon Hey Michael, thanks for your question. Yes you're correct, I have a X-drop from Westscott and I used a backdrop from Kate's backdrops that I modified to fit it to the x-drop frame. I thinking on doing a video on how to modify the Kate's bg, My Backdrop is The Old Master backdrop (gray) $40 cost compared to $200 and the results are the same. I hope this answer you question.
Wow A video on how you did it would be much appreciate it thank you for sharing.
I’m curious to see what your van looks like now. I have the same van that I just did Raptor liner on as well.

Thank you!
This was a wonderful shoot. I love how simple you kept the session. Great photo composition building. Beautiful shots using what you called budget.
Thank you for your kind words! 🙏
Great work mate!!
Thank you! Much appreciated 🙏
hi. what settings did you use ...aperature etc. thanks for the video
Hello Dillon! Thank you for your comment. On this video I did a composite photo with different shutter speed for the water, my aperture always at F11 and 3 focus points, then blend it everything in Photoshop. I hope that answer you question.
@@juanbusci that's perfect.. thank you
nice shot. wondering do we really need 10 stop at sunset. 3 stop would work fine... also using polarizer, how effective at sunset.
Thank you! Well when it comes to filters it's all about preference. The way I wanted to create this picture was with a very long exposure to smooth the water and an 10 stop is the way I prefer. Them the polarizer filter only work as long as you have the sun on either side or to reduce reflexion, and that is what I did here (also gave me an extra stop) Now like I said, filters is all about preference, in my new video that I'm working on I ask that big question, do we really need filters in 2022? I hope that answer your question. Thank you for you comment 🙏
@@juanbusci Thank you very much for the explanation.
How do you know when the rainbow will appear?
If the conditions allows it, every day for about 20 minutes the sun will be rising over the east and this phenomenon will happen, you just must be patient. This will happen around 8:30 am or 9:30 am, depending what time of the year is. Good look if you going! Thank you for your comment 🙏 P.s. is that time of the year again, can't wait to go there again.
@@juanbusci I'm on my way next week. Hopefully I can catch the firefall. Great video
