Here's my follow up on the Baileigh BS 127P Miter Saw. Root cause of the pivot lockdown discovered, and more quality shortcomings uncovered.

I imagine he's a little disappointed by his haul of a tube of contact cement.

Original Paint Beautiful Condition 1973 Ford F100 Orange with White Stripes. For sale on Bring A Trailer.
My first truck was just like that one i painted it midnight blue and chrome everything I could every body loved it
sweet truck...
Wished I could find one like this.
I have 2 of these mine are a 1974 Ford Explorer one is orange long bed with 3 white stripes on the bottom the other is a black short bed with the 3 white stripes at the bottom. I would love to know how many of these trucks were made in 1974.
Wow that pivot slop is really disappointing, very poor CQ.
Always love that white stripe at the bottom of those year models my uncle had that same color his was a 73
I just recently bought a WEN portable bandsaw and it looks IDENTICAL to this. Baileigh model looks to have 1 or 2 features the WEN doesn't have. I've been using my saw almost every day and the WEN holds up just fine (minus the blade). I am sure some of the stuff under the covers on the Baileigh are better quality (I hope) but for 90% of people the WEN band saw would be adequate. Save yourself some money and by the WEN or another cheaper model. If anyone has a portable bandsaw like this I made a video on how to convert them to a vertical bandsaw which is how I generally use mine. It works great!
Very nice truck, but it is not “all original” and “totally factory.”
Is this truck still available?
I live in san jose and I've been searching for a 71-75 F 100 but are not easy to find for sale you we're very lucky.
Belize you might find it. In a town called orange walk
@@trevorsimon6713 😊 thanks
Looks nice. Had a light blue ‘73 F100
Beautiful
Hello I just picked up a 73 exactly like yours mine has no stripe and also has a 390 and oem seat diffrent color im the 2nd owner. But your is perfect..
Incrível!
Thats french for incredible
I have one like yours Save color
Where did you get the black rubber pieces? The ones that are adapted to the front bumper
Good catch ,also good review .Their are much better saws on the market .
Really nice!
Thanks for posting! I bought the 'optimum optisaw sp 13v' (German brand.. made in PRC it says I think) which looks identical. Seems all these variants originate from the same factory. Mine doesn't come with the auto stop, could you please zoom in on that? I'm thinking of adding this feature myself.. thanks again!
Bro. You have to pull the handles up and turn back towards the right to tighten it again! That’s not as tight as it goes smh!!
I like it. 😍
Anyone can do good work, if you have good equipment. If you could get this to work well, you'd be doing great. This is an obvious fault. What else is hidden inside? It's enough to make a guy scream out loud.
Looks like they mostly come from the same shed.
BS says it all
Thanks for the in-depth review
Dude, you gotta pay attention to your video, half your video is cut off smh
Jesus! I feel bad for any contractors who may work for you.
I've got the Klutch version, but there's several different versions of this saw. Mine is working great and others have had success with this version. There is some slop in the pivot on mine, but I can only notice it when it's fully loosened. It's nowhere near the amount you showed in this video, and when I lock mine down it's completely solid. This video will show most of the differences: ua-cam.com/video/3m9ahxLkbhU/v-deo.html I think mine came to ~ $300 with shipping. Home Depot sells one under the name General International, and I've seen several randomly named ones on Amazon.
I learned how to drive in a 73 F100 just like that same color and all. Even the same stripe.
Nice truck sr
Nice truck I got a 73 f100 explorer custom, with dual exhaust, 360, 4 speed, and its the yellow version. Been in the family since bran spanking new. Still runs.
If I was Baileigh, I would not put my name on this chinese junk. It appears to me that they just added a self stop, emergency stop, a blue paint job, and a Baileigh sticker to a generic chinese band saw. All other features look the same as a Harbor Freight or similar low quality saw.
That is a very nice truck my friend take good care of her If you wanna sell her let me know
Looks good
This ford f100 is 47 years old looks great too badass
hey pal, how are you liking the saw now? still using it? noting any other issues? i used a larger wet saw from baileigh at my old job and really liked the build quality/performance. been thinking about getting one of these for my home setup! thanks for these videos! greatly appreciated and helpful!
Pure garbage.
Nice review Paul very thorough but I think you being a little picky on a 500 buck unit mate. These things are "built to a price" i.e. The manufacturers say to the engineer that designed it "we plan on selling these things for $ X. So build the best you can for that and including a profit for us". It's like anything, the more you spend the better item you will get. All in all, I'd say there a fantastic little machine plus being able to take it "onsite" easily without making a ton of noise and setting the place on fire like you would/could with an abrasive cut of saw it worth it's weight in gold.... Almost! lol..... Thanks for this review.
Awesome truck - only question I have is why the screws in the door cards? They have been removed by someone who broke the tabs. I know cause I did the same with my 73.
I don’t know the price point here, is it unreasonable to consider this saw a sort of “kit”? Something that you know will need upgrading.
Obviously you didn’t watch/listen to the entire video.
I was all set to pull the trigger BECAUSE of the cast base. It seems this saw is available for almost half price in another brand. Thanks for taking one for the team.
Hi Paul I was thinking of purchasing on of these but that really put me off did you hear any thing back from baileigh? As they do sell there equipment as high precision machinery
In the end yes, Baileigh came through for me. See the other videos. Thanks for watching!
That's a shame. A great concept for a small bandsaw but quality control that border lines on pure stupidity. Thanks for sharing!
My dad had one that was grabber blue with the white stripes
I very seldom see any Ford pickups with that body style around nowadays.
I’m very interested! Text me 9136747506
Beautiful! How much are you asking !??
